Nick Saban has officially has his name changed to the Great Fraud by Dan LeBatard. God, this guy turned out to be one huge mistake, liar, and several other choice things. And a few moments ago, I just listened to Don Shula blast Saban (in the best political type of way that he could).

I'm sure this one will be all over Sportscenter for a good long while...

My personal feelings are, well...Yay for Miami! Poor Alabama.

The man lied. I believe his exact words were "I'm not going to be the Alabama coach. I don't think I should have to comment on this question anymore." Or it was at least something damned close to that. The man wrote a book preaching about mental toughness, integrity, overcoming adversity, loyalty, etc etc. If he was 13-3 he'd he sitting in Miami right now getting ready for the playoffs. He had his first real losing season and couldn't handle it. Can I blame him for taking a 32 million dollar job? No. I can puke on him for the way he lied about it. He didn't have the balls to tell people in person about it. He talked to the other coaches on speakerphone about it...

He's actually taking a paycut in terms of per-year, and given his apparent inability to stick with contracts I'd say that's the only way to look at it.
