Well, since I last had a computer, I've moved a few times, and it seems that I've lost the CD's to a few of my games. Usually I'd have little problem going out and re-buying the games, but money is a little tight at the current moment. So I was curious; Does anyone know of any reliable sites I might be able to get a no-CD patch for Starcraft Brood War? I think I've only ever searched for a no-cd patch once, and I ended up with 12972167 viruses, so I don't really want to go googling for one again. So if anyone could help me, that would be rather awesome.

Looks like there are some patches on the Blizzard site. I'd imagine those should be pretty safe:

er... he's looking for a No-CD patch... won't find that on blizzards site. If you want to be able to roam shaddy sites (for shaddy software) you can do it in a virtual PC, you will isolate yourself from any virus' that way.

I just browse torrent sites like www.mininova.org. You can scan everything before you install it if need be and you'll find just about all the no CD cracks you'll ever need.

Thanks, Celephais. There was no mention made of a CD required, just downloads. However, you'd know more than I since I don't play the game at all. :)

Reliable site, been around for a really long time. I get all my no-CD's from here, never had a virus.
