Surprised there isn't a thread on this already.

Anyhow, thoughts on the MSG brawl last night? I wasn't watching the game, but thank god for YouTube and SportsCenter.

I was a little disappointed no one took the opportunity to slug Isiah, although it was funny to see Aguirre pulling a Van Gundy on Jared Jeffries' leg.

Ummm, it took me 5 minutes to figure out what this thread was about, until I saw the words "Van Gundy".

No one watches basketball any more, douche. Follow a real sport where touching the other guy isn't a foul.

Sorry, I was under the assumption that you were a guy and thus have watched SportsCenter at some point in the past 24 hours.

Wow I actually had respect for Anthony prior to that fuckshit. NBA sucks anyways.

What a wonderful example of men tickling eachother.

What a wonderful example of men tickling eachother.Seriously, soccer has better fights than this crap. Basketball just took the sissy crown. Next time Starbury should give someone (probably a teammate) a flying elbow drop.

This overgrown child masquerading as a man needs to play better if he doesn't want to be embarrassed.

Robinson said he does not regret his actions and felt that the punishment for Smith was justified even though the game was already out of reach.

"It was kinda weird," Robinson said. "Things happened so fast. You're trying to protect your team, you're trying to protect yourself in a situation like that.

"They wanted to embarrass us. It was a slap in the face to us as a team and a franchise and we weren't going to let that happen."

The Knicks suck for crying about another team beating them as Dan Wetzal says quite well.

Beyond the sucker punches and sorry stunts at Madison Square Garden on Saturday came the most pathetic part of all for the NBA – Isiah Thomas whining about run-up scores and poor sportsmanship, like the once proud New York Knicks are nothing but a lowly college mid-major in need of mercy.

And lastly Anthony was a HUGE punk for sucker punching and running away like he did.

They may be less likely to be gone after than Youtube as they don't have Google's deep pockets.

That's the best action the Knicks have had since almost-but-not-winning-the-championship in '94. They must be taking lessons from the Rangers.
