I was under the impression that this spell was really uber in GS3, then nerfed in GS4. Is it totally nerfed, or can you train for it to become better? Or is it still effective in certain situations?

I loved it in wyneb temple. Especially if you are trained for it, you can bounce the flares and get multiple targets knocked down.
