When this was applicable to me, I really didn't have any set definitions of physical characteristics I looked for in a guy. I find all sorts of different types attractive--blonde hair, dark hair, red hair, all eyes, different races, etc. etc. All sorts have men that look good :P . As..cliche and cheesy as it's going to sound, I really was into personalities. The way a person acted pretty much determined what I thought of them.. That being said, my ONE physical no no would A) They HAD to be taller than me (not too hard to accomplish, since I'm only 5'4) , they had to be well groomed and NO BODY odors. This includes bad breath and underarm issues.

I never really think about looks, as far as what I might prefer in a guy. A nice smile is a big plus, but the rest is just superficial.

I like a guy who knows who he is and where he is going. It is important that he be confident in himself, as I am a strong-willed person and pretty successful in my own right.

To be compatible, he should enjoy reading and quiet time. He cannot be too needy or demanding of my time. Other than that, I welcome diversity. I enjoy many kinds of people. The challenge of an egrossing conversation is much more important to me than looks. :)

Outside that, I look for humor first, self confidence, interest in me ;), someone who likes games, likes time alone also, movies, going out to plays and theatre. I also like physical contact, holding hands, a hug now and then, but not like, throwing her tongue down my throat at the mall for all to see -- I like my intimacy, intimate. I like it that I can trust her, and she can trust me, that we can be at a function and know where each other is even in a crowded room, watching out for each other and the occasional wink or glance.

I don't like women who are like, lets go dancing every Friday night. That shit gets old. Occasional hitting of a club is fun, doing it all the time gets old. She should like smaller, quieter bars where folks can actually talk, instead of shout and wish they were somewhere else. I also don't like being ignored (who does right) and want her to be interested in whats going on in my life, as much as I am interested in hers.

There is so much its hard to define what a 'perfect' mate would be like, and I don't believe one exists. I think life is all about compromises and understanding that you are two seperate people. She is one of my better friends, but she also has a boyfriend who she loves very much and sees regularly. We are close, and spend alot of time together, but she would never truly cheat on her boyfriend.

For a long time I stopped hanging around her because it hurt too much, but I found being away from her was even more painful.

We're friends and always will be. As long as she stays happy I really dont care what happens with me.

What do i look for in a girl?

Well i dunno i've never really met the girl i'd like to spend the rest of my life exists, but intelligence is required. It doesn't matter how much else you got going for you, if your a dumb bitch i won't be able to stand myself for being with you.

I'd probaly want a girl who doesn't take herself that serious as well. What i mean by that, is a girl who doesn't cry if you don't like a particular dress and can be comfortable with herself or be able unable to function without your undivided attention 24\7\365.
In terms of physical appearence:
I'm a strong advocate of the axiom that states "If you look good first thing in the morning with sweat pants on, you look good no matter what". If you need a professional hollywood make up artist to go out the house, then yea its not gonna work.

I'm a guy so quite honestly i find all types of girls attractive, but if i had the ability to "make a girl" she'd probaly be kinda tall with an athletic build (moreso because of it says about them as a person) Light skinned like me. and yea, i dunno. Eyes, eyebrows, etc don't matter as long as they are not freakishly abnormal.
