Long story short: Shantin got annoying sunbursting the Park.

Shortly after his spike attack on someone else failed, he ran away to TSC, so I followed and stalked. Which led to...

[Roll result: 264 (open d100: 65) Bonus: 10]
You spring from hiding and attempt to grasp Shantin by the chin while slitting his throat with your black vultite dirk!

You slice deep into Shantin's vocal chords!
... 32 points of damage!
Roundtime: 5 sec.

Which in turn led to him running back into TSC, tapping an empath twice, and offering us the following RP gem...

(Shantin is dying)

About three seconds later...

The night watchman, leading a group of deputies, strides swiftly in.

With great ease, the night watchman grabs Shantin and shackles his wrists.

"There you are! We don't tolerate your crimes in Wehnimer's Landing, no we don't! Come along now!" says the night watchman.

With a keen eye, the night watchman glances over Shantin quickly. He says, "We'll not have you dying before sentence is carried out. Let's get you healed up, though there will of course be a slight charge for it." With that, a demure looking city official, evidently an empath, comes forward and heals all Shantin's maladies.

The night watchman then drags him off.

At least he doesn't have to worry about dying.

I was hiding in the park when he kept pointing me out (keep in mind I have no hiding). So I tackled him, and my armor flared on him. He left, came back healed, sunbursted me out of hiding and then tried to spike me.

So I went to the guard and accused him...

A town guard listens attentively to your plea before saying, "Another one to throw in the clink, eh? I'll get the night watchman to issue a warrant against Shantin immediately."

Then Edaarin cut his through (he was burst out also), and he got arrested. Haha.

5 min later...

[Private (Shantin - subdued)] "im trying to stay out of violence i had 40 in town murders so i left the lands and i dont want to start back up"

Shantin whispers, "If you knew who i was."
Shantin whispers, "You wouldnt of tackled me."
Shantin whispers, "But ill let it go."

(Shantin is dying)

You know... despite missing a period at the end of the sentence... I’d call this one well played.

While he did imply what others might percieve, he was a dude with his throat slit open.

That's hardly a state you should be changing colors in.

Shantin whispers, "But ill let it go."

Any "If you knew who I was" comments automatically lose. Completely.

LOL.

You know as much about roleplaying as you do about politics.

I hate when people write "shouldn't of" instead of "Shouldn't have"

> There are no dictionary entries for in stead, but in, stead are spelled correctly.

> –adverb 1. as a substitute or replacement; in the place or stead of someone or something: We ordered tea but were served coffee instead.

2. in preference; as a preferred or accepted alternative: The city has its pleasures, but she wished instead for the quiet of country life.

—Idiom3. instead of, in place of; in lieu of: You can use milk instead of cream in this recipe.
