Do not do business via online PayPal or Ebay with Mike Satin ( felongl12@yahoo.com ). He will reverse transaction you and put your auction in limbo with PayPal.

Well shit, let's start a smear campaign but not give any fucking details and expect others to just take us at our word...

What details do you want? I sold 5 million silvers him via Ebay. Several days after delivery I get a notice from PayPal of a reverse payment initiated by the buyer.

Seems pretty cut and dry.

Thanks for the heads up.

Doubt he'll use the name Mike Satin or that yahoo email address on future transactions now that the word is out though.

I don't think I'd ever do business with a guy named Mike Satin.

Yeah, if we can get a character name, I imagine everyone would make his time in GS a little less enjoyable, at least if he has a character he's put time and effort into....

We must take this IC!

Yeah, most likely was a fresh rolled guy though - I dont see how anyone could be stupid enough to cheat someone with their main guy.

True, there comes that damn voice of reason again...

Using a fake name under Ebay is fraud.

Giving fake information to Paypal, who is owned by Ebay is also fraud.

Checks issued by Paypal to settle account balances are made out to the name of the account owner, if it's a false name only a fool of a bank would cash it to a third party.

You cannot attach credit cards utilizing someone elses name either.

I find the warning useful, and will not do business with anyone named Mike from this point on. It would help to have his character name.

Kragan was the character name. I wouldn't doubt that the character is a fresh rolled one though.

PayPal thankfully has already seen it my way and refunded the money to me. I supplied them with the auction information, the real address of the buyer ( thanks Ebay ).

If anyone lives in PA please give a visit to:

Michael Satin

and give him a good kick in the nuts for me.

Tho - you are assuming it was not a stolen account/password for ebay and paypal.

Since he doesnt need a physical address to deliver the coins to, it'd be easy for him to steal someone elses money to get free coins.

And I am curious as to why paypal sided with you - the seller of a non-tangible item. Can you possibly copy the emails you had with paypal?

Bobmuhthol

Paypal has a one free pass policy in which this situation will result in you getting your money back virtually without question the first time it happens to you.

Not sure if that's what happened here, but that's what they do.

AestheticDeath

Hmm- must be new. I had a guy charge back on a $750 dollar character purchase, and they would not let me keep the payment when he reversed the transaction. Only some good luck and stupidity on that guys part allowed me to get the character back by calling Simu and taking back the account, since he had not changed the password or seq. or anything.

LOL, no he's referring to Seany Digital, always used to brag about his crappy RX-7 and how he hangs out with Snoop Dogg, but felt the need to scam people on GS.
