I can't believe cinci is favored over baltimore
how lame
Cincinnati.
They have to start winning sometime and Baltimore has to start losing sometime. It's beyond me how such an awful team keeps winning but they do.

The disruption in pickem caused by Thursday night games would be a lot more palatable if I could watch them. Harumph!

2 weeks in a row Thursday night football has fucked me out of my picks. God damn NFL network.
Latrinsorm
12-01-2006, 11:13 PM
I'm all for tossing out Thursday picks altogether (while noting that I was completely right in the Ravens having an inflated record). It's just annoying.
Drinin
12-01-2006, 11:56 PM
Pfft, my vote is to leave in the thursday night games, but since I'm not the one keeping track of the records . . . eh, I don't really care.
Latrinsorm
12-02-2006, 12:56 AM
It actually makes it harder to keep the records if we start doing (in effect) 15 game weeks, but the reason I say toss 'em is because I'd rather more people get a chance to pick so the trembling at my eventual (fictional) domination will be all the more manifold.

It's not one of the best? How many superbowls have the bills been to this decade let alone won?
Latrinsorm

Ok Mr. Miami Is the Worst Team in the League.
The Titans have to have the record for fastest turnaround ever. 0-5 to beating the Colts? Not too shabby.

Miami isn't the worst team in the league?
Latrinsorm
12-03-2006, 07:47 PM
I'm not sure how anyone can watch the Raiders play and think anyone but the Raiders are the worst. Andrew Walter is tied for 2nd in the league in sacks taken and he's only played 8 full games.
Even throwing out the Raiders, the Lions and Cardinals are much worse than the Dolphins. There was a stretch when the Dolphins were just terrible, but they've been on a tear since the bye week.

The Raiders just gave up -5 yards of passing to the woeful Texans... and STILL managed to lose. Good call, X-man.
Standings!
RichardCranium: 11-2
Drinin: 10-4
Sergey: 9-4
Drew, Solkern: 9-5
Alfster, Latrinsorm: 8-6
Apathy, Peam: 7-7
Augie: 6-7
Eschaton, Ardwen: 6-8
The remaining picks are such that RichardCranium is guaranteed a win. Bravo, and congratulations on tying your sum of Weeks 10 and 11 combined. :)
I look forward to tabulating Xyelin's picks tomorrow around 6PM. It's a good thing you took the extra time this week, bro, I'm foreseeing a near-perfect score.

Do the numbers lie? I THINK NOT.You currently hold a lead of 4% over your nearest competitor, which is hardly dominating.
Bob Costas is an unbelievable douchebag.

4% IS DOMINATING in sports picking. I still stand by my withdrawal from the competition so it's moot now.

what is this 3/4 eligibility bullshit I haven't heard about until now?
Latrinsorm
12-04-2006, 11:24 AM
If people haven't played for 3/4 of the games or more, I don't count them for the % listing. (That's why you're at the top of the list instead of 4th, incidentally.) You have 11 weeks, which is less than 16 * 3/4 = 12.
Apathy

And Seany, 1 week a season does not make...or something like that.

Yeah I didn't factor in your picks of Thanksgiving games, Drew, good call. You leapfrog Eschaton and RichardCranium with those taken into account. I threw in those games for Xyelin, Augie, and Drinin also, but there were no resulting changes in position.
You guys are lucky I forget about this thread 90% of the time.
