Uhm.....mind if I ask why you want him to be ripped up?

Dex, Reflex and Strength are set high if you're wanting to place for growth. Go with mid-60's in Dex and Ref and drop your strength into the 70's, it hurts at first but it enables more stats to grow when you get to be an older rogue.

Drop your charisma to 25, bump down your Int and Log a lil and you've freed up some more points for the other stats.

This should be close to what you look like going this route.

Race: Half-Elf Profession: Rogue (shown as: Scoundrel)
Gender: Male Age: 87 Expr: 3415920 Level: 78
Currently Stat Bonus
Constitution (CO): 78 .... 14
Dexterity (DE): 100 .... 30
Discipline (DI): 93 .... 16
Logic (LO): 87 .... 18
Intelligence (IN): 90 .... 20
Strength (ST): 96 .... 23
Reflexes (RE): 100 .... 35
Charisma (CH): 72 .... 16
Wisdom (WI): 94 .... 22
Aura (AU): 93 .... 21
Mana: 203

Wisdom, Aura and Discipline are your slowest growing stats....place higher here.....at least 80's

Why you should bother playing with Stats of all things before GS4, is utterly beyond me. Tank Int, Logic, Str, Dex, Ref and Co. Everything else is pointless until GS4 begins.

Show the training. But I agree don't place for growth place for power hunting for the first 20 lvls then reallocate if GS4 isn't around yet.

Placing for growth is overrated. At level 80 do you really think it's going to make a difference whether you have a 15 bonus for str or a 25? It won't. Trust me. Place for total training points. In the end it's much more worth it.

Agreed, Neff.

Here, this'll help for GSIV since it is kind've pointless to be doing it for 3 right about now.

Growth now is pointless, in GS4. Its pretty much impossible to get all stats at 100 without hurting yourself early on.

Exactly. You CAN make it so you max all your stats at 100, but as a rogue that means you'll start out with something like 35/45 PTP/MTP. And when you're going to be converting MTPs to PTPs anyway, you end up with a massive loss of what you can train in for something that REALLY doesn't matter that much at high levels. If you place your stats so you make more PTPs than MTPs for life, you end up with more you can train in, have to convert fewer points, and end up having a better character.

Yeah, I actually rolled this character about a year and a half ago... and I never played him much, always played my ranger. I just got hooked on rogues and eventually went back to this guy, and this was after i had reallocated him to where he is now... I planned on getting spells, hence the big mental stats. But now with GS4 comin out I wish i had done different.

No need to wish, just wait for GS4 and reallocate until you like him.

I have to say I agree with these 2 comments. I reallocated from a magic rogue about 3 months ago and reallocated 69 trains, so I had some room to let stats grow.

GS IV should give you some time to tinker with and refine your rogue to how you see him in your mind. Go with that, RP the part, and you can't go wrong.:P
