Lev 46 Elven Rogue for sale, with gear. Great stats and training, with great redux for his train, due to high physical fitness and pure combat related training. With metal breastplate and redux, he rarely ever gets more than a minor, if that. In the rare event he's stunned, he's a master of stun maneuvers and can easily escape. He hunts with a 341 self-sustained AS due to his society skills (+35 AS), 4x handaxe w/ weapon specialization 1 (+6 AS), and surge (+40 STR/+20 AS). His high stamina allows him to easily keep Shadow Mastery (2 sec hide RT, 1 sec sneak RT) and surge (+40 STR/+20 AS) on at all times. This character can hunt far above his training. This character is well-liked around the Landing and Solhaven, and has no problems getting help, fog, etc.

This isn't GS3, folks. Your training doesn't matter anymore, since it's completely malleable given time, and once a year it's ALL new thanks to fixskills.

My 52 train rogue is similar in most respects, but does 1x armor (he's happy with his 8x brig, for now), only 1.5x CM, no harness power.

What does he have more than your rogue? He's fully doubled in a second weapon style, fully doubled in physical fitness, 20 ranks of MIU (for his deathstone earrings), and is singled in first aid.

Edited to add: Oh, and fully tripled in hiding.

I bet you he pwns your rogue, and I have trouble soloing in Stronghold. Mainly cause I don't get outside spells from other people, like a pussy.

Revon was solo hunting illoke at 46. Yes solo hunting and not with a partner. And yes he got PWNed many times there.

Also, he swung over 400 and had a DS of over 500. Does that count as a better level 46 character?

What you have to understand is that when you are selling something you have to at least humble yourself and not advertise your character as the PURE KILLER ROGUE THAT PWNS ALL! Im sure there are a lot of people here that think their character is a lot better trained and more skilled than yours (me included). If you're going to advertise your character like that then it is a MUST that you give every little detail so that everyone will know why your character is the killing machine with amazing redux that you say he is. If you dont then they'll pick you apart, as you may have noticed.

And thats not only with the PC but everything in life.

I was the Paladin that hunted with him. He's also hunted with my Sorcerer. The rogue is good at what he does. Able to hide from critters well above himself, that's why he doesn't get hurt as much as others.

The weapon I use is a 2.5x claid weighted flamberge, so I dealt out a lot of pain.

I'll vouch for his abilities. They're good, and he does well on his own.

For the comment on me not being trippled in hiding.. what's the point in trippling, when I less than 2.5x it and I can still hide on critters 20 trains over my head? That's what shadowmastery is for. By the time he gets far older and even comes close to needing 3x, it'll be there.

well we got another bet on our hands I believe lesser griffins are 66 gaurantee you'll get pulled from hiding if you can hide from them at all even with level 5 shadow mastery. Not a big deal if you never want to hunt animals or airborn ones on top of that... but I am over 2.5 hiding at 71 and level 5 shadow mastery and I get pulled more then I'd like to admit. I'd be interseted in seeing you hide in Wyneb. Supplicants can still sniff me out at times.

EDIT I just checked my skills again I am only 10 ranks under tripled if that gives you a guide line. Griffins can pull me from hiding about 60 percent of the time.

Yea, some critters still find me. Shan are lower than me but sniff me out occasionally, and mastiffs are a pain to hide on. But I haven't noticed any problem in Wyneb.. maybe just haven't been in it enough, but I don't think botched or been sniffed very much. I 2x'd hiding until I got my physicall fitness to 85 and my armor to 80, now I'm training in hiding as much as possible until it's trippled, will take about 5 levels or so I think. Some creatures are just extremely perceptive, but for the most part, 2.5x and 5 ranks in shadow mastery has been pretty effective.

Edit - haven't hunted griffins, I mainly stick to the dogmatists, supplicants, etc

I am still waiting for this log of you soloing both Illoke and Wyneb. As a rogue who is better designed for combat than your own rogue, I can say without doubt you will be pulled from hiding easily in Wyneb. I have more hiding ranks, am older, and have the 5 ranks of Shadow Mastery and still get noticed about 50% of time they search.

I went back the other day after the previous guy mentioned supplicants being perceptive.. those were the only critters that gave me any trouble in hiding. I never botched or was pulled on the rest, once, just a few times on Supplicants. Don't see why you're having such a hard time.

I just felt that I didn't handle the situation correctly, and I brought myself down to your level, so I deleted my post. What people are criticizing is the "PURE KILLER" - What that meant was ALL HE DOES IS KILL. So what if you don't agree with it.This is an odd way of couching the argument in that it suggests the disputed points are matters of opinion. The actual case is that you made factual claims (e.g. your character could hunt such and such) that you are unable to back up. Your character does not have great redux and we have yet to see anything indicating your character can hunt the listed areas, especially given the Illoke log fiasco.

As an aside, I'd suggest that you not couple comments like "you guys are immature" with comments like "go rub vagicil on your pussy" in future posts.

Please, tell me who doubles phys fitness as a Rogue at this level, then tell me what they've sacrificed to do so. Should I drop my armor use, so I can't wear MBP? Should I drop my shield use, or my 2x dodging, so that isn't as effective? Should I drop my 2x CM so I lose AS, the ability to dodge maneuvers, and CMP? Please, tell me what I should sacrifice, to add another 11 PF ranks, that would be oh so much more important.

Everyone is so busy calling BS on me, why not on this statement? A 46 train character that swings at over 400 and had a DS of over 500, and gets owned in Illoke? Seriously.. c'mon. Not only is 400/500 BS, but a 400/500 char getting owned by critters that swing no higher than 350 and whose DS is 250 and lower.. unless you stand there and let them fist you and not even try to fight back.

Comparede to what, someone twice his level? Please, try comparing him to other char's at least 10 levels higher or less. Refer to my response to Bobmuhthol.

At the very least, you implied you could.

And as far as the second part - this is an OOC forum that has nothing to do with the way a char is RP'ed in game. It's funny, because many of the people on here insulting me (or whatever you want to call it) are friends with my char in game. The character is very well liked and has a great reputation, despite what you've seen on here.

You said to find someone with better redux than you. The answer is someone with more PF ranks than you. These people exist. You don't even make an attempt to maximize your redux, which is obvious because yours sucks.

Once again - sucks compared to what? Older characters? True.. characters his level? Hardly. How did I not attempt to maximize his redux? The only way it could be higher is if I completely 2x PF (which is only 11 ranks shy) and in doing so, I'd have to sacrifice other things (AS, DS, CMP, ability to dodge attacks/maneuvers, etc) that I felt are more important than 11 ranks. 11 ranks shy of 2x PF, when I have everything else almost as high as possible, hardly means his redux sucks. Try comparing him to someone his level. I never said he has the best redux in the entire game, I said compared to people his training, it's pretty damn good, and you can't argue that.

Are you serious? Lying and ripping someone off would be editing his skills and stats into something it isn't. Tell me, how would I be ripping someone off, when I mentioned he could hunt an area, which is possible. You guys added the word solo in, I merely meant he could survive the area based on his ability. It would be your own fault to assume something that wasn't written, then find out what you thought you assumed was incorrect. Ever sign a lease to an apartment? Do you assume the water and electric are included, or do you make sure it's written word for word? This all started by everyone assuming things that weren't written, and twisting words into something they weren't. Blame me for nothing, merely trying to advertise a character.
