SO I did the update last night. I hate it. I'm sure I can customize it a little better than it is right now, but I fucking hate it.

ANyone else do the update that like it?

Back to firefox I go...

I'm quite satisfied with it. The only thing I wish I could do was Alt+Tab between the tabs like I can do between applications.

You can, use CTL-TAB instead of ALT-TAB.

Internet Explorer 7 is a huge improvement over IE 6. I use it over Firefox now.

Thing about IE 7 is that since it is very different, it takes time to get used to it. Microsoft is changing the way a LOT of their products look and feel and the reaction is typically always the same... at first people hate it, but then once people get used to it they wonder how they ever got by without it.

I'll try! I guess I'm just not feeling it yet...

I fear change. FireFox uber alles.

FireFox is better, I think Kranar has to use a Microsoft program if it comes within 10% of the competitor. :)

Also, FireFox 2.0 form spellchecker ftw.

Yeah, I got the little pop-up saying I should upgrade IE, I said, 'no thanks' and continued using FireFox.

I don't think I can even upgrade IE because I won't put SP2 on my machine.

The new Windows Media Player is sweet too.

It (IE 7.0) is better than all the new booby avatars.

Cleaning all the caches at once and the highly evolved multiple tabs are better than that communist Firefox garbage.

I despised it. It screwed up a java interface between me and one of my labs (online submission). The entire time, the publisher of the course was very accomidating, trying different things with me to try to get it to work with their platform, but in the end, I just went back to using firefox. No problems since.

I used IE 6 then upgraded. After getting everything installed and running, I DLed Firefox the next day and transferred all my bookmarks. I now use it exclusively. And the 'view in IE tab' is just such a nifty add-on for those stubborn sites.

I hated it and uninstalled it at first. Put it back on a few days later and it really grew on me. I'll reiterate the only thing I don't like is that it's a lot more mouse clicks as opposed to alt-tabbing. Other than that, much better than the old IE.

CTRL-TAB works just as well in IE 7 as ALT-TAB when using IE 6.

I also like being able to see all my tabs at once.

I upgraded both IE and Firefox and don't have any major issues with IE but continue to mostly use Firefox.

I like the change level zoom, and the way favorites are now kept.

And I guess the phishing filter is cool too.

I too didn't like it at first, but now that its setup like I like it..I like it!

If someone could tell me how to delete certain things in my history without erasing all of them, that'd be great.

Nevermind, I found it under favorites.

That's a pretty cool feature I agree but I wonder why when you only have two or three tabs open it doesn't scale those up to fill the view all tabs page.

My vote is for Foxfire!

IE is copying what Firefox already has. Then again Microsoft likes to copy a lot of what competitors do. Nothing IE does, or Microsoft for that matter, will stop me from using Firefox. I appreciate the effort, I guess.

Firefox blows. I can never get that thing to works as seemless as IE does.

I love 7.0 Great upgrade and very convenient with the tabs. Makes Sunday Fantasy Football painless as I can now shrink all 10-15 IE windows at once instead of one at a time.

IE 7 is what prompted me to switch to Firefox on a permanent basis as my primary browser. I only wish it wasn't such a memory hog.
