I would like you to meet Cosmo, an orphaned grey squirrel who was rescued in the Landing tree almost a decade ago after Plur stepped on his parents.. After becoming too attached to his adoptive parents over the years, he eventually decided to inhabit this soft leather pouch. Lately he has been complaining about the Terasian waters ruining his fur and his desire to explore the rest of world.

You tap a soft leather pouch which currently has a small squirrel peering back at you from under the flap that you are wearing.

>look in pouch
You see a soft leather pouch that was designed to carry a small squirrel and currently has one in it, who is staring inquisitively back at you.

Tsin shows you a soft leather pouch which currently has a small squirrel peering back at you from under the flap, which he is wearing. Inside, you see a large acorn, and a grey squirrel.

You tap a soft leather pouch that you are wearing. (Empty)

- Pouch can hold multiple items, but may not be inspected so I have no idea on capacity.

You remove a large acorn from in your soft leather pouch.

SHOW: It looks like your typical squirrel, which some less than lovingly refer to as "tree rats". Unlike others of its nut-throwing kindred from the trees, this one seems to rather enjoy being on the ground and around people.

The squirrel is currently curled up by your feet.

*** (This last line is ONLY when he is curled up near someone, otherwise just the basic show description) ***

- Completely invincible while on the ground, including all area attacks and implosions. Only the owner may pick him back up.

- If you accidently leave him somewhere, he will get a worried look and hide in the room until you return. I would NOT recommend this.. It has happened before and the previous owner lost him for quite some time.

- He will also appear in the normal room description so that he can interact with others.

[Manor Olea, Natural Pool Room]
Polished stone borders the clear water of a pool, its surface rippled by natural currents of an underground spring. The water flows off at the back of the chamber, where it falls through a grate, down into the sea in a breathtaking torrent which sends rainbows arching from its spray. Opposite the pool, a graceful wooden bridge spans the pool, giving access to an intimate grotto. Expansive windows offer a panoramic ocean horizon framed by hanging baskets of draping ferns. You also see a battered antique faewood crate, a grey squirrel and a wicker cart with some stuff on it.

A couple people asked if he was unique or not.. He is now.. Connour informed me that his wife retired with the other squirrel, making Cosmo the only one left in the game.

Best offer so far is a 10x cloak and 25m.. I know someone can do better than that. This squirrel used to sell for 200m+ everytime.

Annoying fluff that is compounded by being passed around.

This actually means: I've been lowballed so far and am actually trying to inflate a make-believe bid.

Tree rat still for sale.

Anyone who would trade a 10x cloak for a useless piece of scripted fluff is an idiot.

I've made trades that would make you cry apparently Seran. If you have everything, expensive fluff is all thats left to buy.

Doesn't make it any less stupid.

If I was a longtime player who always wanted a hedgehog like Kodos, and had a bunch of high enchanted db items to boost my ds I'd offer them to trade for the squirrel (which is basically the same thing). Especially now that there's a +50DS cap on DB items (Which is probably why you see so many for sale these days)

Even if you have every "useful" item in the game:

Trade/give away some useful DB (or otherwise) items to friends to help'em out - or be completely self-absorbed and trade the gear for some scripted fluff.

Tough choice.

Considering how many people that have borrowed my items and retired with them it really isnt a tough choice to me.

I prefer fluffy items like that.

Wish I could have afforded it.
