Ok, so I won this at the ebons raffle. I've tried every verb in the book, and it doesn't do shit. I WAS 4x I think, and now shows as 5x, but I dunno... hunted with it a week and havent' seen it do anything yet.

The blade of this broadsword has a smooth blue-black finish, marked only by a shallow engraving on one side. The engraving depicts a tiny sword, with a glinting silver blade, as a result of the finish being marred by the etching. A sturdy haon hilt is affixed to the end of the blade, bearing the symbol of a crescent moon. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Here's the loresong (nothing special to it)

The first thing that strikes you about the broadsword is the weight, which is about 5 pounds. In your best estimation, it's worth about 1,000,000 silvers. You can also tell that there is some type of metal in the structure of the blued steel broadsword.

It has a bonus of +25 from a normal broadsword, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it requires skill in edged weapons to use effectively. It also has some type of special ability, but you can't tell what yet.

Anyone have any ideas?

have you had it assessed yet?

Found this at http://www.nilandia.com/merchants/ebongate06auction.htm

- edged, broadsword base, 75/160, seems to be erratic and causes victims to fall asleep, fluctuating bonus, does not require MIU

Yeah, Mo is a warrior

J>assess my broad
You assess the broadsword for structural weaknesses and strengths.
Careful examination indicates the blued steel broadsword has a base strength of 75 and a base durability of 160. You also determine the current integrity of the blued steel broadsword to be at 100.0%.
For some reason, you can't seem to get a feel for the broadsword.

Have you blessed it? Did you see what it does in the hands of a Cleric/Paladin? Have you pointed it at things? Rub tap raise after a kill? Have you seen if it can be further enchanted? Maybe try to have something done to it Va Premium Points and see if they spill the beans.

Any class is supposed to be able to active it. I've gone through all the verbs in verb help with it. Have not tried to enchant it yet, I will though.

I read it as entirely flare-based... if you're not seeing the flares, you should probably ASSIST.
