I don't see how rerolling would help since the name would stay the same, and the reputation follows the name, not whether his stats or training are better. He needs to start a whole new character, start completely over as someone else. Or just suck it up and accept his fate and try to change rather than make everyone else change, i.e. like him because he says they should.
