Atlanta at Detroit
Cincinnati at Baltimore

Green Bay at Buffalo
Houston at N.Y. Giants
Kansas City at St. Louis
Miami at Chicago
New Orleans at Tampa Bay
Tennessee at Jacksonville
Minnesota at San Francisco
Cleveland at San Diego
Denver at Pittsburgh

Oakland at Seattle

QB switches and pissed off coaches tend to alter a team's season. Who will crash and burn, and who will gain a new life under the duress? There are some very tough matchups this week, so pick carefully.

Nice Buffalo pick TheE we'll see how much fun Favre's having after the game.

Oh and for Latrin, It's nice to see Big Ol' Michael Strahan taking his anger out on QBs instead of his wife these days.

Irvin picks the cocaine scabs out of his nose. I most likely won't play Ind/Ne game but if I did right now I'd play Indy +3.

The ending to the Washington-Dallas game was awesome. Vanderblockt is probably going to get a lot of blame for no good reason, which isn't really fair. If it wasn't for TO dropping that TD pass and whichever lineman facemasked Taylor, Dallas would have won that game. The guy can't block and kick at the same time.

Giants ftw.

I'm glad to see I've made it into your sig, Xy.

I hate how Pittsburgh is 2-5 and they're "trying to save their season" as if they still have a fucking chance, and the Bills who were 2-5 (now 3-5) are already counted out.

We have a better fucking record than the SUPER BOWL CHAMPS of last year, FTMFW.

Saying the Bears are overrated just because they happened to be 7-0 before today's game....... weaksauce.

I think at least the fans were just really enjoying the run for the time being. It was great while it lasted.

How dare you! I guess it helps if you have a quarterback. The offense has never been known to light up the boards. Offensive coordinator job posting on Monster please. "Wanted - Someone who can turn this sinking ship around". Anyone want my tickets for the rest of the year?

Sure am glad I have Peyton and Marvin on my fantasy squad..Went up against Eli, Shockey, and Tiki..dude I played LOVES the giants apparently. Anyways..it'll be close but it made it even sweeter last night that the Colts did it against fuckstick Brady.

Latrinsorm
11-06-2006, 10:45 AM
:)

I still think Brady's a really good quarterback and not all of those INTs were fair to blame on Brady, but hopefully this will quiet the "OMG BEST QTRBACK EVAAAR" crowd for awhile.

The category for this week is Reverse Bell Curve:

TheEschaton (seriously), Alfster: 9-4
Latrinsorm (lol @ the Vikings), cakewitharse, Stunseed, Drew, Xyelin, Apathy: 8-5
Atlanteax: 7-6
Drinin, Parkbandit: 6-7
Ardwen, richardcranium, Sergey, Augie: 5-8

Only the 9-4s and Apathy are in contention for the title this week with Apathy inexplicably picking Oakland for MNF, so we need a tiebreaker from theEschaton. I'll post up season %s tomorrow.

TheEschaton
11-06-2006, 10:48 AM
Hmmm, I'll put 29 on the game tonight. Let's hope no defense gets played.

-TheE-

Apathy

Inexplicably? Wallace is a turnover waiting to happen, Morris couldn't run on a treadmill, and Oakland has one of the top5 D's in the NFL (look it up).

The key is the game is whether Walter gets sacked 5 times and throws 2 INTs, or gets sacked 15 times and throws 5 INTs.

Edit: And I should win by default if I correctly pick the Lions and the Raiders to win in the same week.

TheEschaton
11-06-2006, 11:11 AM
I will laugh so hard if my Bills over the Packers pick ends up winning the week for me.

The key is the game is whether Walter gets sacked 5 times and throws 2 INTs, or gets sacked 15 times and throws 5 INTs.I think the key to the game is Art Shell has no idea what he's doing. The Raiders will stay close or even be winning after the first half and get their doors blown off the second half.
Edit: And I should win by default if I correctly pick the Lions and the Raiders to win in the same week. There is that, yes.

TheEschaton
11-06-2006, 04:11 PM
Ummmm, I've picked a number on my first post every other week of the year, I legitimately forgot this week. I didn't even notice til Latrin pointed out we needed a tiebreaker.

And once I knew I was in the running, you didn't expect me to be gentlemanly about it, did you? ;)

Monday night pick total amount of points without going over as a tie breaker.Alfster wins, precedent being set in week 3 when Stunseed picked 54 (rofl) to Sergey's 37 in a Pitt-Jacksonville game.

Oakland... worst offensive performance I've seen since the Giants flop in the postseason. I mean this is awful. 0 points against the SEAHAWKS? :\
