I was curious who here will be seeing this film?

I'll probably skip it like I do other political "documentaries".

Doesn't look like anything I'd be interested in.

I hear there controversy as to who will advertise for it as well as who will actually show it in theaters.

Yes CNN won't air ads for it and think other major US networks are passing as well. They are running ads in Canada for the film.

I heard NPR wont run ads either. They only intend to cover it as a news story. Which sounds more like trying to make something like this sound more 'news worthy' than it really is.

You expect something more from the NPR?

It's being released in the USA tomorrow.

I do when they actually report the news rather than attempt to tell me what my opinion should be. This occurrance is becomming less and less I'm afraid. And now I'm seeing more and more exclusionary methods of swaying public opinion by decided which stories get airtme and which do not.

Its like a backhanded way of influencing opinion by not giving out both sides of the issue. I would blame the writers, but I feel fault must be given greater weight with the editors who determine the actual formatting of the news. :(

It was showed at the Toronto Film Festival in early September but that was one viewing. We are now talking about it's general release.

Yeah and I'm saying it was shown on TV a while back.

I just looked it up. It aired on British television but didn't air in Canada or the US.
