I just plain don't like the Patriots hype. I do think the Vikings have a better chance at winning than the Buffalo Worthlesses, though.

how could any of you pick the saints over the raven??Because the Ravens only beat one good team so far?

Anyway, the PC seems to be slowly returning to form:

RichardCranium, Apathy: 9-4
peam, Bobmuhthol: 8-5
Ardwen, Xyelin (should have waited that last 52 minutes!!), Sergey, Alfster, Stunseed: 7-6
Drinin, Atlanteax, Eschaton, Latrinsorm: 6-7
Wezas, cakewitharse, Soulpeon, Drew: 5-8
Augie: 4-9

Note: Wezas and Augie picked against the Giants and end up in the cellar COINCIDENCE???

RC has the Patriots and Apathy has the Vikings tonight, so one of them is guaranteed to win this week.

For the season, we have a correct pick rate of 59.2%. When the PC picks a favorite in a particular game, that favorite wins 64.2% of the time.

I woulda been 7-7 if I coulda picked the Bills this week.

Rofl @ the noobs fussing over waiting till Sunday to put my picks in. It will always be Thursday night or after depending when I get around to them after that point. If I stuck with my Thu night picks I would have had Jax and TN picked as well.

Patriots = overrated. Vikings = underrated. Yay.

Patriots are overated? They're barely maintaining and getting shit for it each week...

Apathy
10-30-2006, 08:10 PM
Yet every week every analyst is humping their leg. Who have the Patsies beat this year? Buffalo twice, the Jets, Miami, and Cincinatti. WOW.

They'll still make the playoffs cause their division is by far the worst in the league, but they'll get pwn'd in the first round.

Latrinsorm
10-30-2006, 08:30 PM
The Jets might actually beat the Patriots for the AFC East, which is incredibly pathetic. The Jets only have the Bears, Patriots, and Vikings left, and the Patriots have to play the Bears, Colts, and Jaguars. If the Patriots lose those three games and the Jets manage to beat them, !!! alert.

Latrinsorm

Note to the MNF staff: Try not to have some gimmicky race where the crowd is supposed to cheer on the night when the home team is down an ugly 17-0 at halftime.

Note to the NFL: Can you make it a little less obvious you're rigging the game for the Patriots to win? :thanx:

I haven't received an email in about a week and finally did some checking. In any event, problem solved. In my Inbox was the standings in the pool after week 7:

A-Diddy takes home the win with 11 of 13, while the pool suffered a miserable 5.6 average. Jacksonville, Seattle and San Diego knocked 160 out of the bonus game. 147 are left.
(See attached file: fbalrank.XLS)

160 people bumped out of survivor because of those 3 teams, heh. Fucking San Diego. 147 left out of a hair over 500 people in the pool, and that was only through week 7.
