I am looking for a symbol to use in Word and powerpoint. The symbol is a V with a dot in the middle of it. It is used when symbolizing maximum oxygen uptake (VO2max)
I can't figure it out. Anyone know how to get it?

Can't you just draw it? You probably won't find it in any regulation fonts.

Under the INSERT menu, there is a sub-menu named Symbol. It will open the character map for you.
I just checked my keycaps and three different mathematical symbol fonts and... nothing. Latrin had a good suggestion. Word has some drawing capabilities. Get a V in there then add a dot. Other then that, print it out then poke a dot on the paper with a pen.
