I imagine the weapon style of choice by the majority of GS is OHE.

thats like saying the transportation of choice is an automobile when we are talking about the usability of mini versus a truck.

No, not really. The majority of people in game use OHE's. Short Swords are useful via TWC, or Ambushing (in which two cases they are one of the most desired weapon bases). Coraesine weapons are also incredibly coveted. Decent or unique short swords are in a much higher demand that claids simply because so few exist.

All in all, whether or not you're trying to piss on someone's post for whatever reason, doesn't change the fact that the current value of a 6x coraesine short sword is probably more than a claidh.

Let's keep the discussion to Carsyn's original post. If you have what he's looking for, great. Let him know. If you don't, there's no need for you to comment on what he's seeking or your opinion of its worth.

So as no one's confused, -I- was the one looking for the glaes or vultite claid, not Xaerve.

I have a glaes claid. I'd like to trade it, but I have no use for a coraesine short sword (my twc warrior would never be able to use coraesine) or coins. I'm going to wait until after Ebon's Gate to evaluate trade options, but I'll keep you in mind. Thanks.

a translucent rainbow glaes claidhmore

With a keenly edged blade of colorfully translucent rainbow glaes, the claidhmore shows clear signs of expert dwarven craftsmanship. Nuggets of deep red jasper, shaped like drops of blood, are used to cap the leather-wrapped pommel and speckled invar quillions. As the pommel is tilted, causing a cascade of colors in the light, you notice the length of the blade bears a single etched word, "Elfsmiter."

It's 3x new style, 99/265, 15 pounds (been lightened), and scripted:

You set the point of your rainbow glaes claidhmore into the ground at your feet and casually lean on it.

You brandish your rainbow glaes claidhmore in front of you, trying to look menacing.

You lower the tip of the massive blade to the ground, giving your arms a rest.

You swing your rainbow glaes claidhmore over your head in a murderous arc.
