a half-buttoned carmine silk longcloak, 3 lbs, can't inspect, holds 100+, bunch of actions, if anyone is familiar with where this came from or how many actions it has, the info would be appreciated.

A bit late as it sold already, but these were purchased on the Wavedancer as well as another pay event I believe. I had 3 of them and recently traded one with a friend for other items.

They have the hood actions, such as 'So and so pulls the hood up over their face', 'So and so pushes the hood back from their face', and open and close scripts such as 'So and so opens his cloak with a dramatic flourish of the hem' and 'So and so closes his cloak tightly about him' or something similar (can't remember the exact wording but those are pretty close). So, 4 scripts, holds 100 pounds etc. Basically they have the same scripts as the cloaks sold from Sproink's wagon when he comes around.

I sold him some glowbark item that he claims shattered, but before he even gave me a chance to refund him, he's sending me messages threatening to post on this thread that I sell faulty items. So I told him to go for it, because now he won't get a refund.

Wonder if he told her the item could actually shatter?
If he was about to refund her then he's already convinced it's definately possible.

AestheticDeath

Well, I wouldnt have known it could shatter. Most things that can shatter, shatter because you did something you shouldnt have. Nothing at fault with who sold it.

I once had a lil figurine that shattered because i tried to put it on the floor.. Was the first time Id ever seen anything actually break. Beyond like blue crystals... rub rub yeah

If you truly intended to offer a refund, regardless of any comment made, you would have and considered the situation resolved.

You're selling virtual goods. Get over yourself.

Seriously can anyone tell me about the item?

HouseofElves
10-26-2006, 01:31 PM
The item was the glowbark sliver that he told me was a +22 thrown weapon. I bought it and the first time I used it, it shattered. I showed someone else and they said it was a shard from one of Tinnoc's boxes, never meant to be used more than like three times. I had no clue. And I was hardly threatening anyone. He wouldn't respond to my IMs about 5 minutes after I bought the thing and used it when it shattered. He went idle I saw him come back and I asked if he got my IMs, once again, no response.

So I sent a PM that night. The following morning he posts on the PC but didn't respond to my PM. So I IM him again and state:

[18:24] Meksplaything: hey
[18:25] Meksplaything: can you at least like respond to me?
[18:44] Meksplaything: Look dude, if I can't get your attention here I can post on the PC

I hardly see that as a threat to "defame" him as a seller or whatever. I just want my silver back.

A shard from Tinnoc's boxs? Confusing.. But beyond that.

It was indeed a +22 weapon?

And if so, why would it have limited uses?

From where I sit, it looks like a sticky situation. On the one hand, I empathize with Allen, because I see it from the merchanting point of view. He most likely got it off an account he bought. And had it assessed/bardsung. Not sure he could have known it would shatter, unless the bardsong stated such.

But, you didn't know it would shatter. What if you had used it once then sold it in turn to someone else, and then it shattered? Would you refund?

Without a doubt, but then I'm not a bitch(without good reason). I wouldn't want my rep as a seller tarnished because I sold something that didn't turn out to be what I sold it as.

Some more FABULOUS drama for your enjoyment:

[19:53] dmx4135: Hi. Are you there?

[19:53] dmx4135: Allen wanted me to tell you to fuck off
[19:53] dmx4135: And to leave him alone
[19:53] dmx4135: because you're not getting a refund
[19:53] dmx4135: and he really thinks its funny
[19:53] Meksplaything: I'll be sure to post this on the PC too.
[19:53] dmx4135: No problem, fuck you :)

[19:55] Meksplaything: And I care because?
[19:55] dmx4135: because of your bullshit

HAHAHA and the last part of it:

[20:01] dmx4135: How much do you weigh, please.
[20:02] Meksplaything: Hahahaha. Dude, don't even try to go there because you will feel like such a loser, or rather moreso than you already are if that is at all possible.
[20:02] dmx4135: I don't feel like a loser, and I'm calling your idle threat a bluff
[20:02] dmx4135: so please, by all means, prove me wrong.
[20:03] dmx4135: Thats what I thought.
[20:03] Meksplaything: Why don't you enjoy my myspace, lame ass.
[20:03] Meksplaything: www.myspace.com/naivelone

Xaerve has had at least two players. I suspect he was just purchased again by the second one; though the current player claims he's the original owner who has been gone for some time. I'll point out, however, that the same player first told Querthose he didn't know the character (Querthose and Xaerve are ex-business partners, and Querthose got shafted out of 5million in silvers during the "player switch"), and then a day or two later commented something along the lines of Querthose being just like "he always is".

So yeah, I think Warclaidhm bought him. (haha j/k)
