I had only a few minutes to scan the official boards and I believe I saw a post from GM Melissa stating GS4 would not go live tomorrow.

Anyone care to confirm or elaborate on this information?

I'd rather play it 2 months from now then play it the way it is now. It's very buggy.

I need to look at detailed status reports (again.) However, everyone should be on guard.

We are currently planning to go live with Platinum at least two days before we go live with Prime. Platinum and Prime require unique setup, so it will be easier for us to launch them one at a time. Additionally, while GS4 has been in testing, it hasn't received thorough stress testing. Since the Platinum community is smaller, any problems that crop up in terms of stability will be much easier (and quicker) to fix.

The best days to go live would be a Tuesday (Plat) and a Thursday (Prime.)

At this time, I expect that when we have a GS3 outtage, that it will be the SAME DAY, as the day we will go live. My goal time for going live is 6PM Eastern (a time where the maximum number of both in-house staff an offsite contractors will be available.)

That's all good and everything, but exactly WHICH tuesday and thursday will this be happening?

next week? a year from now?
