Its very well written. I expected it to be corny to be honest, but I was really impressed. They even manage to place humor in there with the guy who can transport (ie. he transported into the girls bathroom etc). I admit though, the cheerleader who can't be hurt creeped me out a bit.

I thought of that too at first. I think it's kinda cool though how they've been bringing things together. I think that the ending of the last episode was absolutely insane.

Haven't watched it yet and I am still not sure if I will. I remember seeing the trailers for the show in an AMC theater and I thought that everyone was riding on the coat tails of spiderman and x-men.

I'm pretty sure it's suppose to be comic book-esque. If you like reading comic books or anything of the likes, then you'll like this show. I grew up reading X-men/Marvel comic's, so I'm diggin' this show.

And with that...I was pretty disappointed with X-men 3. They messed up the story line of Phoenix. And I'm stoked that they are making War Song, yeah!

Another addict over here, but the show reminds me more of the old The Tomorrow People than anything else. Same basis in the storyline of people getting their abilities from the next stage in evolution.

Still, it's really well done with small cues everywhere, like Hiro's co-working watching Nikki in Las Vegas on his computer, or Isaac working on his painting while a campaign ad plays for Petrelli in the background. I loved how Claire's 'father' is signified by his glasses, like when he was in Suresh's father's apartment and he left his glasses on the book, or when he got into Suresh's cab and all you could see in the rear-view mirror was the glasses.

I managed to get my mother and myself addicted from the first show somehow. It gets recorded on the DVR so we can watch it later without commercials, but we often end up just watching it when it's actually on.

We do the same thing for Eureka on the Sci-Fi Channel. Amusing, given neither of us are much for sci-fi stuff.

I'll have to agree with what's been mentioned before. Claire absolutely freaks me out when she gets hurt. It's like the people are actually trying to get us to look away. I mean, come on, she can put her hand in the garbage disposal, but don't have her hold her hand up for us to see!

The powers are probably genetic, since it's supposed to be evolution, and evolution is passed down and all that. That kid will definitely have some sort of power, those weren't Claire's real parents, and the Petrelli's father probably had a power as well.

I wish they'd get into the Syler thing more, as they've only touched on that once or twice, and it seems like it should be really big. Right now the bad guy of the show doesn't really seem like that much of a bad guy.

I also wish there'd be less fucking commercials.

Except Petrelli needs to be near the person whose power he's mimicking. That's why he can only fly when he's with his brother, and he was only able to paint the future near Isaac.

Besides, it looks like Syler has some sort of telekinetic power, since two of his victims were in impossible positions, and he's apparently able to stop bullets, or at least survive getting shot.

When I first heard they were going to do another season I thought it was going to suck as my favorite part was the character background reveals, but I think they did a good job of leaving just enough ends untied to warrant a good second season.

Is Syler dead? Did some yet-to-be-seen villain drag him into the sewers or did he crawl there himself? Did he turn into the cockroach? There was a cockroach in his prison cell at the paper factory.

Who do you think the person is that Molly is afraid to finding because he can see her when she can see him? Maybe that kid that can walk into dreams that was saw in India?

Also what happened to the Haitian?

What I love about this show is how its totally X-Men in a world that didn't have Xavier and Magneto forming different camps and forming super teams.

They seemed to stay away from all the Marvel stereotypes.

Speaking of Parkman, I hope they don't kill him off (doubt they would). He's one of my favorites.

The second season either isn't going to begin as I expected, or they messed up a few things with season one. At one point, the bomb is predicted to explode 2 days after the election, and yet Peter explodes the night OF the election. Either they messed up, or it wasn't the bomb they saw in the future and another will go off (Sylar).

Also Sylar has the morph ability in the future scenario, but we don't see Candace getting killed.

They changed the future by killing (we think) Sylar before the bomb explodes. Well if Sylar isn't dead, he can still blow up the city. Sylar also hat DL's ability in the future, and he was killed by Linderman. Nathan was Killed by Peter exploding, so him flying as he did in the future doesn't add up. I think we're meant to believe that the future has been altered.

I don't think DL is dead. I may be wrong, but that was not a definate. Now, Lynderman is dead. That was the best kill of the show too.

They showed Sylar flying as well in the future episodes, but if he is dead in the explosion, then the future has changed.

I also hope Peter has that wicked scar when he comes back, that was nice make-up work.

QFT. This season IS a real disappointment so far, it has a very odd feeling to it. It's almost like they brought these new cast members in JUST to appeal to different demographics without really worrying about how transparent it is. You have the dark, mysterious, cliche outcast high school "intelligent but hides it with sarcasm" flyboy to appeal to teenie boppers, the Mexican's so everyone can feel at home reading 6 minutes of subtitles an episode, and the English dude who I can only imagine is meant to appeal to older lonely women who miss MacGyver.

The appeal of the show, at least the first season, was that it had all these different tangents that hinted at being connected to eachother, but you could never guess exactly what was going to happen. Now you have all these different tangents that...go nowhere. I don't even care to guess what happens because the new Heroes are so annoyingly cliche. It's like they thought the Micah/Jessica storyline was so great in Season 1 and replicated it 3x over. Did ANYONE like the Micah storyline in Season 1?

This season is shitty. Hero's part of the tale seems ok, but every other plot line is nonsensical and/or full of cliches. Are we supposed to find the Mexican chick sympathetic when she goes around killing people every time she wants to get to her brother? Why didn't what's-his-name just grab the damned box with his info and leave? Saresh has the Company keeping tabs on him, but he lives in the same house with cop who escaped their headquarters last season and the girl he kidnapped? WFT? This seems very poorly done.

What irritates me is that they spent practically 3/4 of the first season developing the relationship and trust between Claire and her father and finally revealing that her father wasn't that bad of a guy. And within three episodes they brought all that right to where it started.

The whole Adam/Claire blood healing everything is almost too much of a catch all, I mean, they can fix everything with it. I bet some blood disease happens at some point that makes it so that they can't fix everything.
