I've had this armor for EVER.. and havn't really used it in ages.
It's Half Plate, so covers everything but the head & neck.
4 Enchants (its been bumped twice from 2x)
forging of 80/615, weighs 40lbs
When you look at it, you see:
Wrought from overlapping strips of vultite, the half plate is emblazoned with an engraving of a unicorn head upon a circular background of purple.
Has a nice Loresong as well:
As you sing, a collage of images flashes through your mind. Slowly, the images seem to focus, and you can make out the details. You see a well-kept workshop where a wizened elvensmith is in conversation with a younger elf and pointing at the vultite half plate in his hands.
As you continue to sing, the images refocus once more. You see a young elvensmith laboriously crafting the vultite half plate from the raw materials laid out before him. As he works, he is chanting some arcane verses that you can't quite make out.
As you continue to sing, the images refocus once more. The elvensmith is inscribing runes of power upon the vultite half plate. Each rune glows brightly then fades into invisibility.
Your song continues to clarify and focus the images from the past. The ancient elvensmith raises the vultite half plate and chants an arcane phrase. A flash of light consumes the vultite half plate. An irridescent aura envelops the vultite half plate and is absorbed into it. The elvensmith seemingly looks up and gives you a wink and a smile as if he senses your presence.
My Bard cant get much more by way of info from it in his loresongs, so there MAY be more to it.
I DO know this though, it casts 114 (unpoison) with no chance of failure, with no need for magic item use, using wearers own mana. It's self cast, so can't be targeted. If you don't have the mana I BELIEVE it has a chance of cursing you (very small chance)
This armor is old, I've had it for a very long time, so I guess I'm just curious as to what the interest would be (if any)
