Just a note that due to RL totally throwing up on her, Wexna's running a little slow on her portraits...but they really are worth waiting for. I adore the first one she did of my Empath, am getting some additions done (hopefully very, very soon), and went ahead and added Marni to the waiting list.

When I asked Wexna about a rough estimate to get to Marni, who's 28th on the list currently, she said to expect at least 6 months :( But I fully expect it to be awesome.

(If you don't mind doing a little work, anyone who submits updates to the Sylvanfair Verb List is entered into a monthly drawing for a basic portrait package.)

I was poking around Deviantart tonight and I stumbled across a picture that almost perfectly captures not only what Nilandia looks like, but who she is. The setting is wonderful, and there's an owl (a blur in the foreground, but it's there), which is also linked with her. Even the title, Envoy to the Ancient Realm, was perfect.

I tend to picture sylvans as skinny as all get out. It has way more boob than I picture on a sylvan woman. And I thought her hair was longer? It is a very lovely 3D, though.

I was really happy with how it turned out. Not an anime-style drawing, and not another pretty-boy. The bottle and the constable badge always crack me up when I look at it.

Balah's player has got some skills - she drew it in a day, I think it was, and her other artwork is amazing. I don't know if she's taking commissions or anything currently so don't bombard her, but it might not hurt to ask.

It differs from artist to artist. Usually, it's done in tiers. Basic price includes a single character in pencil/ink. More for coloring. More for background behind the character. More for two or more characters included in one shot. Et cetera.

She is short and appears to be immature. She has wide, obsidian-sparked violet eyes and soft, lightly sun-kissed skin. She has short, disarrayed black hair streaked with vibrant purple highlights and loosely tied into two spiky pigtails on the sides of her head.

My NY resolution was to not spend so much cash at the pub so I picked up a Wacom Intuos, second hand with that cash instead.

I've only had some cheap piece of crap before that, some kind of knock off Bamboo copy. Also I've been enjoying a great new program alongside Illustrator called ArtRage, that I picked up too. I can't recommend it enough.
Very natural and disgustingly easy to get to grips with.

Oh yeah and yesterday we picked up a nice new monitor. We've been working with a crappy 18'' that came with the rig for the last 5 years and it broke down on Sunday so that is cool too. Although taking some getting used to actually having to turn my head to see the left / right sides of the screen.

One of the artists I contract with occasionally can do this style. She's not cheap though, and you may have to be put on a waiting list. I'm happy to ask her though if you've got the money to spend on it.

Someone else can chime in, but for whatever reason, I tend to think IG portraits only work with Wizard and not SF. Can anyone confirm? Because personally, unless a ton of people just don't use the right artist, I've only ever seen portraits pop up when using Wizard and not SF; and I tend to look at a lot of people.
