Holy crap Latrinsorm, you're picking my Dolphins? I was thinking about picking against my own team and now you might force me to pick them.

The only time I'll pick Patriots is maybe if they play the Raiders or probably if they play the East Montana Trotskyites.

Eesh. I think I'm going to have a brilliant week, or this week is going to sink my chances on catching up to Ardwen.
BTW, since the 1st quarter of the season is over, let's get some stats for the picker-sters?

If you go under, you're taking me down with you. The only differing game was the K.C.-Arizona game. In hindsight, I probably should've taken K.C. Leinart's first start worries me.

Why do people think Arizona is going to suddenly win because they're starting Leinart? Arizona's O-line is horrible, it doesn't matter who's taking the snaps.

I'm sitting at 36 wins for the year, not too bad I guess.
Drew you need a Monday night tie-breaker.
I really have no idea what that is so I will say 17.
RichardCranium
10-08-2006, 06:16 PM
You guess the point total of both teams final scores without going over to determine a tie-breaker should you and another person/s end the weekend with the same win/loss record.

Exceptionally good picks this week. Every single game so far has been accurately predicted by the PC majority. (San Diego and Baltimore are favored for the two night games, although Baltimore [9-7] is the closest.)
After 12, here's where they stand:
Xyelin: 12-0(!!!)
Stunseed, RichardCranium, Usurper, Ardwen: 11-1
Drew, cakewitharse, Sergey, Drinin, Latrinsorm, Atlanteax, Alfster, Eschaton: 10-2
peam: 9-3
Apathy: 8-4
Wezas: 6-6 (including inexplicably picking the Titans against the Colts who promptly almost gave the game away)
In any event, we are guaranteed a 13 game winner, meaning it's between the first 5 to decide who wins this week.
RichardCranium

You take the tie breaker only if the score is 28 or under... and that only matters if the ravens win..which they will not.

The Bears kicked our ass solid. If I didn't have the need to pick Bills no matter what, I'd be 11-1 with the rest of you.
Didn't believe the Bears hype before this, but they fucking bitch slapped us like a red headed stepchild.
Holy shit. I'm still reeling and the game ended 5 hours ago.

I had friends from Wayne NJ my freshman year of college who ridiculed me for the same thing. They were Giants fans. They suck.
When I say "our", I imply I am a member of the team. In Buffalo, on our wall of fame, we have all sorts of greats up there, including Jack Kemp, and Jimbo. Right in the center of that wall of fame, is The 12th Man. Buffalo fans are the center of the team. The Buffalo Bills aren't complete without their fans.
So fuck you and your naysaying.
What are you, on your period?

Honestly this is the dumbest retort possible when it comes to sporting events and message boards. People are fans. They are the 12th man on the football field, the 10th on the baseball diamond and the 7th in the hockey rink.

It's always They, because They're the ones making millions, They're the ones risking life and limb not me. Do I enjoy every bit of it? Fuck yeah I do, Do I think they give a ratsass if I consider myself 'the 12th man on the field' ROFL NO.
