As a Michigander, I'm quite disappointed by the way the Tigers concluded their season, especially being unable to win one lousy game against the lowly Kansas City Royals.

I'd like to think that they'd have a chance to win the AL Championship had they had the best AL record and was facing off against the As first. But now it seems to be a given that their first return to the playoffs in an eternity will be a rather short one, particularly on the road against the Yankees.
