Man is platinum really easy mode or what? If it ever took off and they had to ease off the all the shit they give away you bitches would be RICH!

It's actually not that easy. The difference is the population and of that population, those that understand the game.

There are people who have been playing since 1998 and have maybe 2-3 high end items. I've been playing since memorial day and have over 10. Two items I received with cross-ream trade, rest won, or traded with plat items.

I would say that of everyone in plat, only about 20% know the mechanics, and of that 20%, only about 10% know where to go looking for unique items on creatures(yes there are a few places you can look in prime as well, though you do need to be in your 50-60s to really start looking).

Anyways, just adding my opinion.

Plat's far from easymode. Aside from the fact that low population means at auctions you're often guranteed an item (which isn't the case these days, anymore.. short of EG which just has that many items overall).. it takes smart trading to get ahold of the things you want. Or when you don't want anything at the moment, just taking good deals from folks who want your stuff. More items, more trade opportunities.
