I work.

And... thats about it. Beyond watching a movie or reading a book sometimes. Once I started workin, there isnt really much time for other stuff. Cept for weekends, and by the time they roll around I dont feel like doing anything that takes energy.

I need a different job.

In addition to 'corrupting the youth of Athens,' (or Anchorage, if you prefer -- I teach, Socratic Seminar Language Arts/Philosophy/History in Alaska), I also direct three plays a year. I'm currently directing Little Shop of Horrors, and trying to maintain a very serious relationship that may lead to marriage.

Gemstone? Not for the last 10 months -- haha. I haven't cancelled yet, but think about it all the time. . .

Beyond that and Nascar, plus a healthy dose of NFL and grading papers, not much else to tell.

Go Jeff Gordon!

Heh, you'd be surprised how so many of my NON-computer related activities are actually tied in to myspace. Pictures definitely. I am always taking new pictures to try to add to my myspace.

Reading - everytime I get a good book that I like, I'll blog about it. Same with movies.

Work is another hobby (heh yeah fun hobby) of mine that takes up a huge amount of time and I totally wind up blabbing on myspace about it.

So yeah, even if myspace is a computer thingie, I have a lot of non-computer stuff that ties in.

Handbells - yes, I'm a ding-a-ling
Choir - I sing with my church choir when I'm in town

Cooking - I like to try new things

So few things I do are not computer related.

I made a list and eliminated anything that I have not used the internet for...

Photography (I really should carry a camera at all times)
Clothing (never internet driven. I have to see it, feel it and try it)

There are so many more things I do and am in to that I cannot honestly say I have not used the internet for at one time or another.

I read a lot too, though not as much as I used to. Currently I'm reading Dante's Paradiso, then I'll be reading Milton's Paradise Lost, and then if I'm not dead, the Dialogues of Plato.

I play some pool, usually a couple hours each night, but not usually on weekends.

I sell drugs in my spare time to supplement my income, usually crack but sometimes heroine too.

Very big on poker (texas hold'em). Paid for a crapload of my university tuition.

Formal language theory. The stuff you learn about the nature of truth and the role of semantic interpretation is very rewarding.

Army related stuff. Shooting machine guns and C7s, doing FIBUA exercises. Don't really do this as much as I used to but the army definitely has its good moments inbetween the 95% of crap you're put through.
