If I use a bow against disarming creatures, can the bow be disarmed from me since it's held in the left hand?
I heard it could not, as a rumour so would like it cleared up.

No, it cannot. but it can be taken from you after you die, just like a shield can, if you're referring to OTF. The Ithizir like to rummage through your shit.

My Ranger Archer hunts Shan Warriors and they never tried to disarm him. While my Sorcerer used to lose his Runestaff all the time.

Thanks. I'll hunt him right hand open for easy loot then. Used to feel better with an arrow there instead becouse my bow means a lot to me.

It can be taken by other manuevers. For instance wearns bite your hand and anything in it drops.
