Hey, I know some of you guys buy/sell from various games. I was just wondering about how much this WoW account might be worth...

60 human mage - lots and lots of epics from ZG, MC,BWL, AQ20, and AQ40 including staff of the ruins, tier 2 robes, gloves, and crown, ZHC, MQG, 7/8 tier 1 set - it's a long list that I can't recall until I reopen the account, but I have somewhere in the 450-500 +dmg range, 3.3K+ health and 6.5K mana (somewhere thereabouts on the health/mana). Also have frostpower enchant on the gloves, spellpower on the staff, ZG enchants on leggings of the black blizzard and netherwind crown, the frostbolt tome from AQ20, and an epic mount plus I think 300-400g.

The account also has a 57 gnome lock with several hundred gold, a 60 tauren shammy with blue gear, a 55 human pally, a 42 undead priest, a 49 night elf warrior with twinked gear for BG including Kang the decapitator and all the agi/stam/str BoE blue pieces in the 40-49 range, and various other characters below level 40. All level 40+ have mounts, all 60s have epic mounts. The 49 warrior, 60 mage, and 55 pally are on the same server, the rest are on different servers. The 57 lock has reached rank 7 PvP - not sure what current rank is.

Just trying to get an idea of how much this is worth.

I don't know which servers. I'd have to reopen the account to find out all the details. I'm just trying to get rough estimates if I can, at this point.

Which server(s) is going to help dictate price. Some servers are in more demand than others... If it's on a PvP server the mage can be transferred to PvP and Normal servers but a normal server character can't go to a PvP server so that factors in as well.

If only that mage was horde.....

Ahh okay, I see now. Well, unfortunately the mage is on a normal server and is alliance side. So, how bad is that?

It's useless to most of the people on the board except possibly those who still play on Argent Dawn. Unless there's some other Alliance RP/Normal server that people frequent.

I stopped playing a couple of months ago, and I played characters on multiple servers. So I don't recall off-hand which servers I played on. Make sense?

Can you name any of the servers off the top of your head?

Are all the characters on normal servers or are any of them on PvP servers?

The main attraction (the mage) is on a normal server. I want to say Thunderhorn is the name of the server, and the 55 pally and 49 warrior were on the same server as the mage. The last character I played was the warlock, which was on Jaedenar (PvP). So it's been quite awhile since I played the mage and even longer since I played the 60 shaman - no idea on the server for that one!

That's the best I can do. If Thunderhorn isn't a valid server name, sorry! I just can't remember. It wasn't exactly a critical detail for me while I was playing. I just picked a server and that was that.

Purely speculative on my part, but from your posting history ... you don't play the games much, you just buy crap up and unload it later.

Your not going to get much of an estimate. Basically what you've offered up amounts to a mystery bag/note.

I've got toons on other servers that I haven't touched in months ... maybe even close to a year ... and I know what servers they're on.

Server info is important past the type when you consider the new bg clusters. Even if your best equipped toon is on a PvE server, the BG cluster that server belongs to will have an impact on the price.

If you want it sold ... pony up the 15 bucks, do some resesearch, and then list the account on one of the sales sites.

So there it is. 60 human Mage, Thunderhorn, +450-500 +dmg, a few hundred gold, tons of epics including tier 2 crown, gloves, and robes, 7/8 tier 1 set, staff of the ruins, etc. Spellpower enchant, frostpower enchant, 2 ZG enchants, tome of frostbolt. Also has epic mount.

Anyway, I can see this isn't going to get me anywhere. I'll see what sites I can find that deal in buying/selling WoW stuff. Thanks.

How about you try listing your gear? Not just "ZG MC BWL AND AQ40 STUFF". That would help tremendously in giving an estimate on what it's worth. The server it's on doesn't really make a huge difference anyway (minus the no PvE -> PvP transfer) since you can just transfer it to another one anyway.

If you want to get the best price for your account, you'll need to reopen it and list each piece of gear you have. Otherwise you won't get more than a grab bag price from anyone.

a) because its funny.
b) because forgetting the name of the server that you have an epicced out mage on is pretty unbelievable.

I can tell you the servers that I have level 10 characters that I havent played in a year, let alone the characters I have had to play for hours to get them to be pretty amazingly equipped.

No, not really. If you played the mage long enough to raid and get purples I can't see not knowing what server. I have alts that I haven't played in months and I can still tell you what servers they are on, and these are low lvl for shits and giggles alts not my main.
