View Full Version : Ta'Illistim and Elementals
Fallen

A Lightning Elemental touched down in Briarstone court following a massive storm over Ta'Illistim. It spoke brief, cryptic messages of some sort of problem involving its Flows. It was not hostile. There were no following invasions. It said it would return at a later date.
This event would likely be of interest to Wizards. Their spells are being released soon.

I'm not sure if this has to do with the release of spells or several visits from Veythorne about research he is conducting concerning Celiel the first level air elemental and a valley she used to dwell in.

A white-blue lightning elemental speaks in a voice of sonorous thunder and crackling energy, "The air has changed. The currents *flow* further."
A white-blue lightning elemental extends a portion of itself toward the ground, sending crackling wisps of electricity along the ground as it vaporizes a small piece of dirt, regarding the entire process inquisitively.
A white-blue lightning elemental speaks, in a voice of sonorous thunder and crackling energy, "The land remains unchanged. Yet the *flow* changes here."
A white-blue lightning elemental speaks, in a voice of sonorous thunder and crackling energy, "The *Flow*."
A white-blue lightning elemental speaks, in a voice of sonorous thunder and crackling energy, "It has changed. The Fangs of the Earth no longer *sing* as they have. The melody differs."
A white-blue lightning elemental speaks, in a voice of sonorous thunder and crackling energy, "It troubles. It has not sang like this in many ages."
A white-blue lightning elemental speaks, in a voice of sonorous thunder and crackling energy, "When they sang thusly, it was the Time of One. There are but Facets, now."
A white-blue lightning elemental speaks, in a voice of sonorous thunder and crackling energy, "It does not occur. Change occurs. The *Flow* shifts and remakes. It does not Revert."
A white-blue lightning elemental flattens out briefly, seemingly probing the area for something -- you feel a charged sense of energy in the air as random hairs stand on end for but a moment.
A white-blue lightning elemental speaks, in a voice of sonorous thunder and crackling energy, "The *Flow* was disturbed. Here, amid these constructs of stone and glass. The pattern is revealed. Partially."
A white-blue lightning elemental speaks, in a voice of sonorous thunder and crackling energy, "The others must know. I will return. It is mild in nature, and the *flow* may change once more."

Heh, who was there to see all this?
Evarin, Maliku, Nauriel and I were at Briarstone NW (the fountain area). I had just quaked the entire room when the elemental showed up. Evarin made the mistake of announcing it on the net, and I made the mistake of announcing it on PSInet which lead to 100,000,000 people arriving.
...Then I just sat back and made people that repeated what the elemental said 5 times in a row look like idiots, as well as mocked Evarin for his ridiculous accent he does.
For example, when the elemental said something about "the fang", people were like:
"The fang.."
"Hmm, the fang?"
"The fang?!"
"The *FANG*?!?!"
And then Evarin would be like:
"DUR!!! WHAT DHEW DHU DINK DIS DOULD DMEAN!?!?!?"
Haa. Oh, it was all too bally easy.
