Good riddance to bad rubbish, if you ask me. I'm sorry, but masking completely and totally OOC concepts such as internet access and monthly fee prices with stupid names such as "portals" is just lame, and doesn't contribute shit to the community.

e-scroll, portals, bad weather, all that stuff - it's bullshit and has nothing to do with Elanthia, no matter what words you use to make it sound pretty.

Niqk wasnt always like that. He had some tragic accident which caused him to lose memory of all his old friends, including at least one he went to school with irl. I think the ailment was called 'E-Bayitis'

The 'real' Niqk was a great help to my first character, and basically rolled my first Cleric (second char) for me, and made up the training plan. All my Clerics since have been patterned on her, and all have been very good.

I was very sad to see he'd lost his mind.

p.s. Shouldn't "someone" and "them" be a subject-verb disagreement?

I agree wholeheartedly, Latrinsorm. I no longer play GemStoneIII (or IV, or whatever it is these days), but I do hope that those who are now playing find in it the magic that kept me playing for years. It does nobody any good to rain on others' parade.

As for the grammatical question, do not even bring it up here. An English teacher, reading here, would have a coronary! ;)
