Last I heard, the current owners of the composite/non-flaring ebows were Odysia, Stonekin and Talantris.

Oh, and how much would I expect to pay for these types of composite bows?

What would be the going rate on the longbow flaring versions? And is there any difference other than flares between the two types?

I was AFK when you IM'd me and now my AIM looks like it bit the dust.

I wouldn't know how to get ahold of either of them. Actually I just realized that Stonekin may be a Plat player too. Someone gave me info about the Plat version and I didn't realize it until later.

I remember talking to Odysia and Talantris about the bows and I believe at least one of them wanted around 90 million for it.

fallenSaint sold his longbow version on these boards a couple months ago. It went for around 125 I think, maybe.

The only difference is flaring and the bow type for AvDs and stuff.

Composite bows = no flares just ammo and perm bless; longbows = random elemental flares up to 70 damage or so and perm bless; crossbows = random damage weighting and perm bless. And the ebons released long bows are random poison flares plus the stacking poison but no perm bless. Kit got the prices on the nose but they arent exactly always up for sale.

I didn't realize a composite bow being merely 7x on average would go for so much.

I understand the static 3RT is pretty killer, but for only a few million you can slave a wizard for strength or get MIU/AS and stength imbeds/scrolls. While obviously not directly comparable, it only takes a little effort to achive the same thing.

Weak. I'll just go with my 6x longbow.

Talantris sold his bow to me. And I have no intention of selling it. What I have is a composite bow no flare and permablessed.
