So what happened to the duels on the boulder? Seems theyve completely died off now. Any particular reason?

I'd bitch to the GMs about anti-sting mechanics on the boulder because of its heritage, but ehhhhhhhhhhhh.

I duel on the boulders at least weekly. Keep your eyes open for announcements on the net.

That place was awesome when it was packed with like 30 people a night, random murders and brawls breaking out.

Anyone want to try and get duels going more often? Get like nightly or weekly duels or something to get people interested in it again.

Have fun dodging the GMs. Its been a while, but I seem to remember quite a few instances of the gods sending uber critters there to clean up.

I do know that Andraste actually prefers duelling to occur on the boulder, instead of the park or outside the gate for instance.

Yeah, most of the time as long as it was contained to the boulder they didnt care. The hardest part is going to be getting people to come because of deaths sting.

Mostly what I've seen nowadays, is people challenge eachother and meet there. Not like a while back when people would hang out there like porchmonkeys.

We declared Sylvarraend to be PvP Heaven last night, and indeed it was. All the benefits of a town, with nooooo justice system. Like jem, it was truly outrageous.

What you forgot to add was to make sure that if you go there intending to kill people, you better make sure that your intended target is playing along.. or you will get in trouble.

Some people go there to sell gems etc. They have a right to complain if some asshole pops up out of the blue and kills them for no reason.

they need a challenge / duel verb like in WoW. where you can duel to 1 hp.

I think it would be great to have a PvP town with no laws.. make it to where they are warned BEFORE they enter the town. As in it stops you and either makes you read a sign or say yes or something to agree to enter that area.

LOL. That would be just one big dueling boulder. Actually, this sounds like a great idea..
