Actually, it's not just the player's ability to RP, their general personality or abundance (or lack thereof) of character, but the personal choices that actually go into MAKING a character that makes them interresting and worth getting to know.

I like to think of my characters as a kind of extension of myself, some aspect that I want people to see when they meet me in-game.

It REALLY doesn't take that much time to think up a really good name, and I have yet to find myself stumped or at a loss.

Honestly, I don't care HOW good of a person the player is, if his name screams to me "I'm a fucking moron, who couldn't be bothered to put a single second of thought into the name of my character" I just assume kill them for breathing my air.
