Okay. Now's your chance to tell us about that cat that walks across the keyboard at that crucial moment, or the dog who wants to play when you're just too busy. Tell us about your pets!

I myself have two cats, Meowzer and Stripey, (which I didn't name) which live both inside and outside, and one cocker spaniel, about a year and a half old, named Amber who would die if she spent more than 30 minutes outside (actually she'd prolly just freak and hate me forever). I also have 9 freshwater fish, which inclue an angel fish, two gourami, three tiger barbs, two silver tipped sharks, and a rainbow shark.

lol Too many. I'd prefer pets. :)
You can at least have them put to death when they annoy you.

I have the cutest bunny rabbit. She's a black and white striped dutch called Liquorice who loves to lick me on the end of my nose when I feed her in the morning

I have a great dane named Tyson, he is a year and half. He is a very funny dog. He sits on the couch like a human...but on the couch and feet on the floor. He is petrified of garbage bags. And if we say "go zoom tyson!" he will begin running through the kitchen and out the living room over and over. However, he still thinks he is a lap dog and my girlfriend and I have many injuries with Tyson jumping on us.

At the moment, two dogs. A Jack Russell Terrier, five years old, named Callahan, who is just the cleverest, easiest-to-train dog I've ever had (and I've had many, of many breeds) and he's my bestest friend. And a Bernese Mountain Dog/Border Collie mix named Sparta. Sparta's still a puppy at eight months so it's hard to judge, but she's got good potential and her fur is so fluffy and soft. She's wonderful for cuddling when she consents to hold still for it.

Five freaking cats!

Hoover, the Siamese male
Bugsy, the Himalayan male
Fang, the black and white tuxedo male
Mouse, the black and white tuxedo Japanese Bobtail female
Sylvia, the multi-colored and white Heinz 57 female

I found out the hard way that when you combine households, you get everybody's pets. :(

I wish I could have cats. I'm not a dog person or a cat person, really, just an animal person. But I'm waiting to have a house, so the cats will have more room to escape the dogs.

I love dogs and cats. However, since my mother brought cats, and my grandmother brought cats, we have cats.

Cats are easier to care for, in my opinion, than dogs; especially, when you have to be away from them often. Yet, I'd love to have a dog. The cats, though, aren't at all interested in sharing their domain with anyone of the canine persuasion. ;)

Penny is a 4 year old lazy newfoundland who loves to run away with my snow shovels. She also enjoys drinking lots of water right before greeting a new visitor, to give them ample slobber.

Just one, a pug we named Herbie.

He's usually pretty lovable and huggable and things. Except when he's excited. At all. If he's excited for any reason he wants to play, and If I try to pet him he'll back away or nip at me. Little bastard.

He's 6 months old and he's wearing me out with them teeth. Every time I mess with him I come out bleeding all over my arms. He bites a bit too hard, trying to break him of that.

He's deathly afraid of oven mitts. One fell off the side of the fridge and landed on him when he was like, 3 months old. And he barks and yips at it, jumps back, sticks his ass in the air and wiggles his tail while staring at it.

Laughed my ass off, and kinda nudged it at him. He runs away, through the kitchen, living room, and into the bedroom hallway. Runs back, and we do this for like 5 minutes.

Overall, he's got more personality than any dog I've had. <3 Herbie

*The stoning pug in my avatar isn't Herbie. That is the late Rosie, who died of cancer.

Pugs are adorable! They seem such active, happy little dogs. :)

Sorry about the loss of Rosie. :(

Wezas' Penny is FTW :) That dog is awesome.

edit: I prefer dogs to cats, but I will take in almost anything stray, including orphaned wilds. Elder animals, I tend to take to the no kill shelter. I have a huge black greyhound that yowls muuuuummmmmy and bangs his teeth together (knitting) at me whenever he wants something right now.

Heh. No cat problem here. I adore cats, and having all these cats significantly reduces our heating costs in winter. ;)

I love that picture of Penny. Just glancing over the photo makes it look like she's holding a giant rose.

While I was visiting my parents I thought I'd share their little bundles of joy.
This is Daisy and her daughter Rosie.
How evil are they!

So adorable!

I have a 3 year old dog/roommate (a corgi) named Jamie. No pics of him on the comp right now though. He's lucky I love him so much, or else he woulda gotten kicked to the curb years ago for all the damn shedding!

I have one cat named Donkey, who I rescued from the shelter.

Donkey thinks he's a dog. He's very confused. As is anyone new that I tell about my pet.

We have:

an Old English Sheepdog named Charlie that we got from a rescue organization

a rabbit named Bugs (Don't look at me. My brother named him)

two guinea pigs we got from the local humane league, another two we got from an owner who couldn't care for them anymore, and another from a garage sale, of all places

Gretchen

Only if I can count my husband and 10 year old son too! Not so cute as my bunny rabbit since neither of them kiss me on the nose in the morning like she does.

I have one incredibly mischevious and spoilt terrier/pompek mixed mutt named BJ. He came with the name >.<. My cousin named him cuz according to her he came out the womb with a bad attitude. BJ is short for 'Bad John' (pronounced bah-jon) which basically means bad attitude/ wannabe badass. He's 3 years old now and his birthday falls on the 4th of July so it's easy to remember! Which is a good thing because I'm horrible at remembering stuff like that.

I have:

four cats (all mixed breed muttcats) Earl, Trixie, Chloe and Lily
three dogs (mini-dachshunds), Ruthie, Maximus and Sammy

All seven are rescue animals, and we all love them dearly. The only downsides are catboxes, yard patrol, and boarding if we ever want to go on a vacation. Otherwise, they're just part of the chaos at my house.

Dachshunds = Yappers

The closest thing to a pet I have at college is ants. The other weekend I found a dead moth under my desk with a trail of ants going off into the distance. Kicked it to the side and the next day there was no more moth. Now the ants are gone too :(
