[Wehnimer's, Land's End Rd.]
Vigilant night guardsmen scrutinize the citizens and travelers arriving and departing through the wide gateway spanning the land route into Wehnimer's Landing. The cluttered streets of the city to the south are a far cry from the deceptively calm expanse of the wilds of Elanith outside. Two daunting towers survey the countryside and protect the town, flanking the road to the east and west. You also see a wooden barrel.
Obvious paths: south

It may just be me, but I think he's just pointing out that the directions do not work.

Yeah its annoying for the directions to only work for characters 2 and under. When you visit a new and fairly unknown town, itd be nice to be able to get directions, without consulting something outside of the game.

But I guess they are assuming that in the hour or less that it takes you to hit level 2, you can learn your way around every town in Elanthia.

The directions don't only work for characters 2 and under. I use them all the time in conjunction with Porcells .dir script.

SBC sucks, dir usually works (for all characters), the original post was not intended to be a major complaint worthy of retaliation.

And dir is, in fact, not working.

It has been a lil while since I tried using it, but when I did, it most definately gave me a message about being to old to use it.
