If you come into these forums cruising for attention, don't be surprised if you get that attention. Furthermore, don't be surprised if the attention you get isn't all roses and violets.

Post count has nothing to do with it. The administrators and moderators of these forums decide what is, and what is not, disruptive. You do not. Several posts were unacceptable, and were deleted or edited accordingly. Now, you may take my post to be a nudge in the right direction, if you like, or you may take it however you please. The point being, if you are found to be disruptive, you will not last long here. My horse doesn't like disruption.

Communication with a friend is in its own form attention. As is having a question answered. They are all forms of attention. Why else post in a forum? That was my point. Since, in following posts, ethnic insults were made (along with suggestions for other posters to injure themselves), I'd say we got into disruptive rather quickly, wouldn't you? These posts came as the second page was just getting underway. That throws up a warning sign to me and I will react to it.

A poster isn't banned as a matter of course here, Chopad. It takes quite a bit to get that to happen. We do give warnings. We do try to let posters know what is, and is not, acceptable. Additionally, posters are expected to read the rules of the boards before posting. So ... no, he wouldn't already be banned. He'd have been warned and his infractions identified for him. :)

There are no steps that a poster can take to have someone banned. People get themselves banned by not adhering to TOS and by not paying attention to warnings when given. Kranar's rules are pretty damned lenient, and we try to give people every opportunity to make themselves part of the community that has formed here. Those who choose to disrupt that community, and will not listen to reason when asked to desist, can find themselves out on their ear. The choice falls to the individual posters.

In other words, this ain't Survivor. Nobody can be voted off the island. The only way posters have input is through the post reporting system. Any poster can, and should, report any post that they feel violates TOS. :)

It's been establish that StrayRogue's avatar came from CollegeHumor.com or some other random picture site, nobody cares about Tool's return except some other people nobody cares about, and everybody has retarded character names and the only edge anyone has on anyone else is that they thought to claim "I did it on purpose" first, and pray someone either believes it, or gives a shit (at all). CollegeHumor rocks, I've got weird taste in music so I'm not bashing anyones interest in music (wether or not I like Tool's music (don't listen to them, personally), I think alot of the fans in that scene are overly obsessed ... but nowhere near as bad as those jackasses that listen to ICP.
