First off I'd like to state, I DO NOT OWN A CELL PHONE! Okay that beeing said, and such, I'm creating this thread for everyone to share the hilarious and intersting things they've seen due to idiots on cell phones, driving, walking, flying, what have you.
My story starts as follows: Today I was walking over to ACE Hardware to see my best friend at work. I'm walking around the corner of the store and there's a parked patrol car, lights flashing, and I get kinda curious. I get a bit closer and, there's a new white Chevy SUV parked directly in front of the squad car....and...halfway through the sliding doors. Needless to say the sliding doors won't be sliding anymore. I walked around to the other entrance, and proceeded to walk back to the register where said friend was working. She informed me that this lady (points 5 feet behind directly behind herself to a blond woman in blue, talking to the local officer), Had come around the corner of the building, whilst talking on her cell phone, and had managed...somehow...to smash right through the front. We've shared quite the giggle telling the story throughout the day, and it's quite the sight to behold. THANK YOU CELL PHONES AND THEIR RESPONSIBLE USERS!

That is all!

Cell phone users have nothing on Asians.

On topic the guy in the cubicle across from me has a ringtone that plays the Imperial March (Darth Vader's theme). The first time it went off loudly (and a few times since) another co-worker says "Awesome" loud enough so that a few people can hear it.

There are so many retarded ringtones in my office it makes me wish that others would keep theirs on vibrate like me.

I can talk to anyone similarly modern at any time in any place. Yay cell phones!

Dicks who walk down the street with their favourtite chart song blaring out at maxed vol, and all we real people can hear is aggrivating static.
The dumb shits.

You'd think at Burger King, the most common complaints would be about limp french fries or stale bread or meat that isn't hot enough. Not so, at least not at mine. Our biggest customer complaint is dining room cell phone use. Every hour, it seems, we have to go out to the dining area and ask a customer to turn down his 2-way, or please move to the back of the room to have his one-sided ridiculously loud conversation on his cell with his proctologist. The other customers do NOT want to hear about the enema he has to take for his appointment tomorrow (true story).

As a CS person I have to deal with these rude assholes the entire shift, 5-6 days a week, when they get into line. Usually I just ask them to please tell the person they're talking to, to hold on while they give me their order. As long as I'm polite, they're usually decent about it. But sometimes I'll get some dickweed who gets to the front of the line while he's been yacking away for the past 20 minutes, and continues yacking, ignoring the fact that it's his turn, while the people behind him stare daggers from their eyes into his back. That's when I really -need- to take action, and I'll interrupt his "I'm more important than everyone else in this building" conversation and tell him to get out of line until he's ready to order, and then I promptly take the next customer's order. If he protests, I refer him to the manager. Polite, but firm, even though I'd rather just rip the phone out of his hands and stuff it down his throat.

A coworker of mine has mario bro theme as his ring... I legitimally think it is awesome.

Anyway my story happened to me a few days ago, I was walking to a big office building near my work cause they have a good cafeteria, and I needed to call my friend to figure out how I was going to help him move, and the idea we came up with was I was just going to sleep on his couch the night before so we could do it early, and we realized I could bring my laptop and we could play WoW in the same room and team up on some alliance noobs.

So I'm walking and I say, quite loudly, "We're going to kill so many people". And I look up and realize I'm right next to a parking lot security guard and two people walking to their cars...

You know, I own a cell phone but I refuse to be one of those rude fucks who stand there at the cash register ignoring the person waiting on them or who yaks so damn loud the entire store/restaurant/street has to hear wtf they are saying...those people need to roll over & die plz.

Heh I have no good stories except this lady who I thought was talking to my daughter because she was staring the poor kid down for some unknown reason(she had long hair covering her ear piece and a jacket covering the cord to the phone)..we almost got into an altercation as she was calling whoever she was talking to all sorts of names.

I hope she realised what an ass she was making of herself after that...she stfu after the store almost kicked her out for being so obnoxious.
