This thread was pointed out to me late last night and quite frankly it's amazing what can be sliced and diced out before posting it. So amazing I found it amusing that everyone gets so heated up over an accident, that was profusely apologized for and then when the nasty comments that were replied to us get cut out for posting, so it gets skewed one way..well thats just down right funny. I'm still trying to understand why someone feels the need to autolog everything? Is it that important to them that they vent over something that happens all the time? I'm still trying to understand why someone feels the need to autolog everything? Is it that important to them that they vent over something that happens all the time?

Well, I can't say why other people do it, but I do it because I enjoy going back and looking at logs of roleplaying experiences, pay events, or whatever else may happen while Michiko is logged in that is enjoyable to me as a player.


I've lost count on how many times someone's walked in on me and "poached"...I smile and say "no worries it happens", usually I invite them to stay and finish it off...but hey that's me...there's plenty of critters out there to hunt and kill so whats one?

First of all, it was two workers and a defender. Not one. Secondly, the fact that it took so long for you to realize that my character was in the room, coupled with the fact that you e-waved and knocked her over and then on top of that were rude (Symminian), called her a HE, and said that it was because she was hiding, when she clearly wasn't when you entered.


As for lingering there was more going on there folks than is seen and thats all I'll say...nice chatting with you all....

btw no one was bragging....read the original post...the 13 years still refers back to how long I've seen poaching, whether inadvertant or intentional, going on. Are you talking about your internal (LAN) IP, or your external (WAN) IP, which is presented to internet sites?

If you have 16k users behind one WAN IP address, your company is seriously overloading PAT.

The mods could check reasonably easily if what they're saying is true about a business or not. Reverse DNS (nslookup <IP>) the IP address -- my bet is that it would return a cable or DSL address.

I was just saying that if it was the same ip address, and they were posting from work, it's not out of the question that they wouldn't know each other. I would have the same ip adress as any of those 16,000+ people I work with and I guarantee you I know less than a couple hundred of them. I know less than 50 of them well enough to know what they in their personal time.

Well, let's not mention the fact Magweyne first tried to unstun you when you landed, then pulled you up and after the wizard ewaved (?), then pulled you up again shall we? Really let's not point out that she did try to assist you.
