A narrow river appears to the west, crossing the path. The river was completely hidden by the tall grasses at a distance. A bridge crosses the river to the west, while dry grasslands stretch out as far as the eye can see to the east. You also see a mongrel kobold and a coyote.
Obvious paths: east, west

You swing a silvery white mithril broadsword at a mongrel kobold!

... and hit for 39 points of damage!
Powerful slash just cracks the mongrel kobold's weapon arm!
The mongrel kobold is stunned!

A coyote tries to bite a mongrel kobold!

... and hits for 33 points of damage!
Strike pierces upper arm!
The mongrel kobold falls to the ground and dies.

A coyote pads east.

You blink.

You botched the job. The mangy kobold scalp is ruined.

You search the mongrel kobold.
It had a handaxe.
It didn't carry any silver.
It had nothing else of value.
A mongrel kobold decays into compost.

Red-Scaled thraks in the lava flows will not only kill cinder wasps, but if you don't search them FAST the thrak will eat the corpse!

Lots of things fight other mobs, although Kobolds are the only ones I can think of that attack thier own kind.

Although I have heard of it happening, that is the first time I've seen it. Fun, Fun, Fun.....

The most interesting I've seen so far is in the Skull Temple. A muscular supplicant will attack a dogmatist, I'll kill the supplicant, and the dogmatist will raise the supplicant.

Or, get in a room full of dogmatists, and they'll raise each other... over and over and over.

Wait till you get a room with 2 seers and 2 initiates in OTF....the fun never stops.
