I dunno, didn't Siddhartha totally get to nail that ho-bag and still reach a state of enlightenment all while becoming the Gautama Buddha?

I really hope that there exists some type of monkish aesthetic sect that allows for much hot, hot walking-on-rice-paper-suspended-in-elevation variety of hot, hot seckses.

Hinduism has it down pat, I think. They wrote the book (literally) on eroticism, and yet there's a period in life of optional chastity in order to further comprehend the depths of the mysticism of nirvana.

Of course, the question is: how holy can you be if you choose NOT to do the optional aescetic bit? Can you only reach nirvana if you choose to give it up for a few years and ponder the secrets of life?
