Is anyone else the victim of repeatably being subjected to your children's favorite movies. If I have to listen to Carebears or My Little Pony and their bullshit adventures in the background much more.....
I swear I woke up in the middle of the dream this week and one of the Carebear songs was still jingling away in my brain.

I swear that James and I know Bambi 2, Shrek and Shrek 2, Alladin, Brother Bear and Princess Songs (some disney compilation of songs by the Princesses of Disney) backwards and forwards. I can also sing every word to Dora the Explorer, Jimmy Neutron, Sponge Bob Square Pants and several others. :(

My kid isn't watching movies yet, but if I hear Dudley Moore's voice in Milo and Otis one more time I'm going to kill my little brother. He had that movie on a f'n loop when he was a kid.

Yes, Ive grown to like Cars and the Incredibles.
The thing I bloody hate is the previews some of these bastards stick at the front of the DvDs. If I have to watch that Rugrats in Paris advert one more time I may go all Jack Torrance/Shining on someone.

I love Disney movies.
Dirty secret: I cried like a baby the other day during the Lion King. And yes, I was watching the Lion King, and no, no one under the age of....23? was present. I think it may have something to do with having just left Africa though.

I fear when I have kids, as I have a feeling my aunt will send me videos of The Wiggles. I had to endure them while staying with her my last visit since her daughter loves them. Ugh.

It's the only one. And damn it, that movie's from like the end of my childhood. End of innocence, and everything.

If you didn't shed at least one tear when Simba's dad was trampled to death while saving his life, you have no soul.

The first movie I ever ever saw at the cinema was Transformers the Movie. I wept at Prime's death.
I still get a lump in my throat watching it now.
Then I get intensely angry at Rodimus Douche for being such a useless bastard.

OMFG the Wiggles are disturbing people. We have a video of them hanging out with (and I wish I were making this up) the crocodile hunter. It is a total shitfest.

Oh jesus, the doodlebops! My daughter (7) loves them and I'm subjected to them as well. That and my youngest loves 'Little Einsteins'. Those aren't too bad though, considering the content.

When I watched my baby cousins.. I memorized Shrek and Shrek 2. Eventually, I stopped letting them pick movies and put in some different stuff, haha.
When I was little I loved Lamb chops and Sesame Street, so I watched those on a regular basis. I also had a thing for Winnie the Pooh. Apparently, one time my father came home to me sitting in front of the TV watching it, then he went into the kitchen where my mother was washing dishes and reciting line for line the entire movie. My dad put away my tapes for a while after that, haha.
Another favorite of my brother and mine was Home Alone. We broke the tape from watching it so many times.. now that I'm all grown up, my dad still can't stand that movie.

I love Disney movies. I never get tired of them, ever.
However, those fucking Princess and the Pauper/Swan Lake Barbie movies are complete shit. If I have to sit through another one of those, I'll cry.

My mom has a daycare in her home. When I lived there, I knew all the words to the intro of Gullah Gullah Island, Lamb chop, Arthur (and probably a lot more I can't think of). There were also two kids who were OBSESSED with dinosaurs and the Land Before Time movies. That daycare piled onto one of the many reasons I moved out at 19.

I thought it would go away.
I bought the videos without realizing they were a secret plot to drive me insane.
Gods help me if I have to hear the theme song from Rolie Polie Olie or ANY music from the Wiggles much longer.
*Head and shoulders knees and toes, knees and toes! Hot potato hot potato cold spagetti cold spagetti* THE PAIN. THE MISERY.
I truly thank high powers that none of my kids were into Teletubbies. I.. hate... Teletubbies. Lots.

The Fox and the Hound and small soldiers makes me all weepy still to this day.
one my favorite ones when I was a kid was Secret of Nimh (which I just bought recently for my collection)
one that used to give me nightmares and I still have it but embrassed to say that I still do't have the guts to watch it was Watership Down. ... sheesh, I am pitiful.

Short answer: Hentai.
Long Answer: The Beginning of The End? Only the Legend of The Overfiend holds the answer. Demons, known as the Machi, have begun appearing in Japan as well as Man-Beasts, known as the Jujinchi. Two siblings of the Jujinchi, Amano and Megumi Jyuko, have come in search of The Overfiend within a young student named Tatsuo Nagumo, a shy lech, who they believe may bring the Jujinchi, the Machi and human race into a promised eternal kingdom based on an old Jujinchi prophecy. Nagumo has begun a relationship with a young cheerleader by the name of Akemi Ito after she is raped by a demon. She begins to understand the circumstances behind Nagumo's destiny. But opponents have begun to conspire against Nagumo, Akemi, and the Jyukos. Could The Machi, Jujinchi, and human race, see the beginning of a New World, or witness The End of The World as we know it?
Its well worth watching, if only for the hilarity of the tentacle rapage.
Goes by the name Urotsukidoji as well.
I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT! I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT! YOU LIKE TO ........ MOVE IT!
My son loves to watch noggin and disney in the AM. Doodlebops, Wiggles (who grossed 40m last year), Dora/Diego, etc. We've managed to avoid Barney and some of the more retarded ones though.
Full feature movies/DvD's we frequent now are Madagascar, Shrek, Shark Tale, Anastasia (he loves the singing), Little People, Finding Nemo, and the Polar Express.
The world will come to a screeching halt when Cars comes out on DvD though. We've seen it twice at the theatre and that is the first time I've seen a 3.5 year old sit still through a full length feature at a movie theatre.

I was relatively little when Lion King came out.. and due to my own family history I bawled my eyes out for like five minutes after Simba's dad died.
I don't get choked up anymore, but still.. that was traumatic for me, haha.

The Land Before Time was the fuckin' shits, esse.
I used to watch The Noozles, David and the Gnomes, and if I could squeaze in an extra half hour on my ridiculously busy days after school as a curly-haired midget sippin' on a twist top cherry Kool-Aid, I'd try my hardest to in an extra half hour's worth of Eureka's Castle for prosperity.
On a somewhat, not-so-related tangent, I find these voiceover dubs highly amusing:
