Anyone else not like that the misc table in the pawn shop is overrun with cobbling trash?

I went a few minutes ago, and the whole table cept for like 3 items was shoes, boots, moccasins and crap.

A girl, I can't remember her name, announced that she was turning the pawnshop into a shoe shop yesterday.

Should have an extra table put in just for all the byproducts of the crafting skills. Hate to waste all the other items we might be able to get.

They should just make them unsellable.

Agreed, Stray. The GMs should have seen this coming and prepared for it. Either make the fruits of the labor of learning unsellable, or create a place for them to be sold. As it is now, the pawn shops are going to be swamped with shoes for quite awhile, I'm afraid.

Same here. Selling shoes actually wastes more time for me than it's worth, so I just pitch them.

The pawnshop should also be paying the same as the gemshop for jewelry by now, but no. There have been a lot of items with spells, re-imbeddables, and just generally nice looking stuff that have never made it to the tables, tsk.

:D

Yes, I agree with that. I would think that the pawn shop would pay more than the gemshop, simply because it gets to resale the item, and it has more useful properties, such as the spells and things.

Anyone think the gemshop aughta sell gems now, with the new Adventurers guild making you find them?

I think that it would be cool if the gemshop had tables in their backrooms where if someone sells jewelry to the gemshop, it will feed over to the table for people to buy pawnshop style.

I bet a lot of people sell some really cool things that other people would want.

That makes a lot of sense... The same gem dealer that is asking you to find gems happens to sell them as well.

The dwarven clerk says "Brave adventurer, my legs are too short and stubby to walk over to that merchandise table, could you go over there and fetch me 4 Emeralds?"
>Buy Emerald
>Sell Emerald
>Buy Emerald
>Sell Emerald
>Buy Emerald
>Sell Emerald
>Buy Emerald
>Sell Emerald
The dwarven clerk exclaims, "By the gods you've done it! I will be sure to inform the Adventurers guild of what a stalwart and diligent adventurer you really are!"

I havent gotten a gem quest yet. Is that how it works? You ask the gem dealer about it, and turn them in to him?

Yes, Gem quests are literally "sell gem to gemdealer". So no, it wouldn't make any sense to have them selling the same gem they need.

Although I do agree that gem quests are stupid the way they're layed out... basically beg people to see if they have them. It would make more sense if the spawn rate *for you* went up on that type of gem (and it was made so that you couldn't abuse it if it were a nice gem quest and you just decided to keep it to get a bunch of them)

I turn these quests in, they suck. Are there any downsides to turning in quests besides the wait time?

I had to find 10 emeralds. Normally when I hunt i would find 1 or 2 per hunt in the stronghold. After 7 hunts in there and having gone through 8 boxes not one emerald. I refused that task and waited 15 min. Not bad since I needed to respell up. Went back ..another damn gem task...I refused that one immediately. Now I have to kill 14 Illoke Shaman...much better.
