The same? Different owner? Is this even his original spelling?

Original spelling was Warclaidhm. This isn't the same character.

A quartet of halfings dart in, closely followed by the Dwarven deputy.
With great ease, the Dwarven deputy grabs Warclaidh and shackles his wrists.
"There you are! I got a tip that I'd find you here," says the Dwarven deputy.
The Dwarven deputy then drags him off.

Ironically, Warclaidh is the original, not Warclaidhm.
The retard copied off Warclaidh.
On another note, claidhmore is an alternate spelling of claymore.
Hurray for a fucking retard going nuts on me for spelling it "claymore".

Yeah I remember the poor bastard (Warclaidh) posting something to Warclaidhm to the effect of "Leave me alone, I dont want to be your friend, Im not your "brother" youre ruining the game for me".
Granted it wasnt the most stellar name to have ever picked, but what a nightmare scenario that must have been.

I think claymore is the only acceptable spelling, actually:

The bastardized GS-translation is from claidheamh mòr (speculation.)

I remember that. When poor Warclaidh was being stalked by Warclaidhm and then Warclaidh like dissappeared for a while.

I imagine that interacting with or avoiding M himself was bad. Probably far worse was how other people started treating him in assuming he was or was affiliated with M.

No, the English translation is from claidheamh mor. Claidhmore is not unique to GemStone, that's the name of the weapon. Though it's undoubtedly why claidhmores were originally greatsword base.
