Does anyone out there have information on how to charge items on Melghorn's Reach? I've tried looking through the player web sites and came up with nothing...half of them don't even exist anymore.
Thanks in advance

You just go all the way up and put the thing on the altar. Then, the moonbeam should come in and light it up.
COme to think of it, I dunno if Day/Night changes now affect this, IE, you can only do it at night, when there's a moon to speak of?

I think you (used to?) put wands on the altar; the room right next to the tunnels, and wait for some suggestive messaging involving their recharging?
It's past the cable cars.
Yah, what TE said.
Do you think thats why small statues are so heavy? To stop people from carrying boat loads of them up there?

I think they're so heavy because they're modeled after YO MOMMA!

You just put items on the altar. The point of Melgorehn's Reach is that the chargey event only really occurs once every bajillion years or something, so Melgorehn decided to stop time on top of his mountain so he could charge stuff whenever he felt like it. From that perspective, I doubt day/night has any influence, and if it does, it shouldn't.
It's important to note that a bunch of common items aren't chargeable; for example, black and white crystals. Statues are (though I could only get to about 12 charges on them, from what I recall), as are blue crystals. I never tried anything else.

I thought it was less than that like maybe 8 charges. You can also charge gold and metal wands to about 8-12 charges, but the process is very time consuming, maybe as long as 4 minutes per charge as I recall.

And also you should be able to charge ruby amulets too.

:thanx:
Just be warned, leaving the reach sucks. I had a script for it but it would never work.
