I have for sale the Belt of Kai:
desc: a wide mithril belt
show: The belt is made of tiny mithril links with a clasp engraved with the Symbol of Kai. There seem to be fine strands of metal, veniom by the looks of them, woven between the links.
This is truly an extraordinary and powerful item. The purchase of this belt has caused me to be much further in debt than I had anticipated. I just cannot afford it at this time. Looking for mostly coins, but any combination of coin/trade/cash will be listened to.
Testing was done on this belt and can be found here:

Why did you even buy it from Tsin if you weren't gonna use it?

I think the question is, why did you buy from Tsin?

Well, tracked down Tsin today and he let me check out his Belt of Kai.
Just to explain a bit what I did. I went to the bank, and played around with coins to set up my encumbrance levels. I got enough coins so that I was 1 coin into Step 3. Then I added coins until I was 1 coin into Step 4, and determined that it was 5760 silver exactly. So 1 encumbrance level (checked by the encumbr verb) is 5760 silver which equals 36 pounds for Porcell. Encumbrance levels/thresholds will be different based on your race and weight.
So then I grabbed a bunch of coins and upped myself to 1 coin into level 6. I wore the belt and it dropped me to somewhere in level 2, so then I added more coins to put me up to 1 coin into level 3. Therefore, the belt dropped me 3 full levels (5760 silver * 3) and it dropped me an additional 2610 silver down into level 2 (I had to add 3150 silver back in order to level 3).
I also did the test using items to add to my encumbrance and I received the same results as in my coin only test.
I also confirmed that my encumbrance level remained at 36 pounds between levels while wearing the belt.
So summary is:
Porcell weighs 355, Giantman Rogue
His encumbrance levels are 36 pounds apart (exactly 5760 silver between levels]
Wearing the belt, it drops him 3 full levels (5760*3) and an additional 2610 silver for a total of 19890 silver unweighted (124.3125 pounds, 160 silver = 1 pound)
While wearing the belt, his encumbrance levels are still 36 pounds apart.
124 pounds taken off, 36 pounds per level, is 3.44 encumbrance levels removed.

Not sure, but that might be why. :)
