What critters can you hunt and make 100k an hour, casually. (meaning consistently)

What critters can I hunt to make 100k an hour? A lot of them. OTF, Minotuars, Roa'ters. I could probably hunt Rotting Corpses/Roa'ters and make that. Hell, I can slaughter Zombies fast enough that I could come close to 100k.

As it stands, Myklian spawn times suck.

Teras blows for hunting for coins. Greymist, a mere level 30ish area does better than the main Teras areas.

Minotaurs are around the landing and pretty young.

Minos are between 19 and 25. I've only hunted them in Plat. The area was good, but not great. It seemed to dry up fairly quickly. There are probably areas that are much more easily accessible that you could make equivalent sums.

Teras can be pretty good for treasure. Depending on your skinning skill and ability to aim shoots you can easily get around 1000 silver for a kirmamon mandible. The seem to spawn at a good rate through the crevice and they're a level 40 version of rats, so you can just blow through them. But again, in Prime there is a good chance they are overhunted and the skins are devalued. May be worth checking out anyway.

And like Stray said, you can pull a decent amount in Greymist on occasion.

Making a million coins a day can be pretty rough on your drive to play. I can hunt for 8-10 hours straight, resting long enough to open my boxes. At the end of the day, sell off the gems, deposit all the coins, and sell all the crystal weapons, wands amulets and whatnot....still might only amount to 700k or so. Of course that's lone ranger style hunting. The big coin lies in raping an area with 2-4 characters and not having to "pay for services" at the end of your hunts.

Teras Isle. If you start out going towards the Fhorian Village but go left instead of right, you'll be in this dumpy jungle sort of area with jungle trolls and fog beetles. Go northeasterly from there and you'll be in the Basalt section, which is way cooler.

No rogue to pick, means less coins in the pocket.

Breaking even at the locksmith sucks, but its all good. I still sell enough coins to play GS for free.

It's been said before but bears repeating that OTF is over hunted for any serious coin.

lots and lots of boxes (when I get a chance to play)

I honestly do not know the lure of buying high end items, I think I've made it to the Rift using only 4x equipment easily. Yes, you'll get the higher AS and look cool, but frankly I really don't think it makes a whole lot of difference in terms of ease of leveling (maybe slightly).

If someone has 2 accounts and can't make 100k an hour there either new, or plain uninformed. I can run 1 person in 1 area and make 120k within an hour without worry. It's not hard, and she's not close to capping age at all. Her INF sucks, and no trading. It's just boring as hell.

One mans junk is anothers treasure. Back in the day I cleaned out the mound of double chain, I made decent cash there. Armor selling is still something I do for silver, it's very lucrative in the right areas.

And correct you are. MA'ing is not against policy, but as Tarakan pointed out in the Hunting Folder earlier, it does disrupt play for other players - in the quality of RP, the swarms that you create, and the strip mining that tanks the cash flow in certain areas. Are you to blame for all of this ? No, but others can certainly blame you for your part. Not that you would care. God complexes are not exclusively obtained from buying a capped character from ebay, after all.

I don't agree with Tarakan's assessment of GS as a pure hunting game, his views of depart confirm, and etc. But with regard to MA'ing, he hit the nail on the head. Somewhere stuck in his openly berating and arrogant posts are decent points.

But with regard to 100K in an hour... cleric + wizard. Have the wizard haste and rapid fire the cleric. By using 312, overkill damage every second (depending on train of cleric: 300+), with no damage to skin value. Quite lucrative, especially in pinefar when you get it swarming.

312 causes only blood loss damage- no crits, so no decrease in skin value. This is why 312 works so well in the lava flows on teras when used on the wasp nests.
