Who'll be able to convert to monk profession? Probably warriors but maybe clerics?

Will there be a new combat system for monks (hand to hand)?

Will it be more fun?

They specifically said 2x brawlers. If they said 1x brawlers they may as well have said any profession can switch to monk, as any profession can 1x brawl.

I'm going to say that I learned my lesson when I converted a cleric to a paladin and have in effect not played her since, bleh. When monks come around, am just going to start a new one from scratch. More fun that way anyway... IMHO.

more than likely i will be capped by the time monks come out. I do know that I will almost definitely be converting.

I originally rolled my character up as nothing but a 2x brawl, 2x MOC, 2x TWC warrior, just so I could get the "monk" feel. The training style was just unrealistic in today's world, so I ended up getting 2x ohe as well to use katars....that was a bit more feasable.

I personally am very excited about monks coming out...i feel like i can give my character his "true calling"

Paladin's came out when they said they would. I recall they said the unarmed combat system would be something they'd be adding late this or next year. So I imagine it will coincide with that.

I still like the whole "Coming in 2004!" if you hover your mouse over Monk/Savant on the character creation thing.
