Cman Bonding to bastard weapons

Say I have a bastard sword or waraxe (able to be swung with either one or two hands)...I bond to the weapon and Wspec1 in appropriate OHE style.

Will I still see the Bond flares and bonuses (minus the wspec1 bonus, I'd assume) if I change grip and swing it two-handed?

You bond to weapon base. So you'd bond to a bastard sword.

I have no idea how it would work with old style bastard weapons, but I suspect it would work per weapon base (greatsword or broadsword) like normal.

You *wspec* to a weapon base. You bond to a specific weapon. I'm pretty sure you'll see the bonding bonuses gripped either way.
